25.01.2022 Perfect timing.

23.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Team member, Todd Buschkuehl, ready to start his 12 hour ride for Brain Injury Awareness at Casey Fields criterium track Cranbourne. There is still plenty of time to donate to this worthy cause and come down to support. Visit Todd Buschkuehl’s Facebook site to make a donation.... See you there. See more

18.01.2022 Later this year I will ride my bike as far as possible in 12 hours. While a personal challenge, I at least want to make the suffering worthwhile. I have committ...ed to donate $1 for every kilometre covered during the 12hrs to Brain Injury Australia. Concussion (mild traumatic brain injury) is something which has had a huge impact in my life and, while I don't openly discuss it, is a big motivator for my pursuing a career in medicine. I'm not pushing for donations - especially during a time like this - but if anyone too feels like this a cause worth supporting I will keep this space open. See more

17.01.2022 It is with great sadness we advise that Devilbend Fun Run & Walk has been cancelled for 2020. Those already registered will be fully refunded. Thank you to our ...loyal followers for your ongoing support, encouragement and enthusiastic participation. We look forward to seeing you all in August 2021. In the meantime, Mornington Peninsula Athletics Club will continue to organise unique virtual challenges that you are all very welcome to participate in. Keep an eye on this Facebook page for further details.

17.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Here’s an event worth checking out for Mothers Day all for a good cause. https://www.mothersdayclassic.com.au/

16.01.2022 Get on board. Criterium track would be fantastic

16.01.2022 A big shout out to Tom Dade (21 years old) who recently did the almost impossible feat of three ultra marathons in three weekends back to back. 55km: Summit Shoalhaven 2nd place overall. 100km : Surfcoast Century. 8th overall and 4th in the 20-39 year category (youngest finisher) 100km : Wilson Prometory. Winner overall and 10min off the record which included running an extra 1km off course. I explained to Tom that the most important aspect with this schedule was proper reco...very after each event as we were both in ‘unknown territory’ with preparing for such a big task and that you won’t lose fitness from one week to the next. Tom did a little more than I suggested and nailed each event. But that ‘ain’t nothin’ yet. In February, Tom is doing the DELIRIOUS WEST 200 (320km) ultramarathon. See more

15.01.2022 Well done and congrats to Todd Buschkuehl last Monday for his 12 hour ride for Brain Injury Australia. 466km ridden in shocking weather rain and wind. $3500 raised for charity. For all those budding Ironman triathletes, Todd rode the first 180km in 4 hours 27 minutes... and kept going at the same speed for almost 9 hours holding over 40km/hr before tiring a smidgeon over the final 3 hours.

14.01.2022 Looking for a Team Barefoot Zwifter that can help me set up companion.

13.01.2022 And I thought I was insane running an indoor marathon 2 weekends ago. Go for it Stephen Redfern

08.01.2022 The Multisport World Championships to be held in Townsville in August 2021 has been deferred until 2022, following a decision by the Executive Board of World Tr...iathlon. Although disappointing, given the circumstances around restricted travel and state border closures still in place within Australia, we believe it is in the best interests of all to make this decision, and thank all involved in this resolution. We're sure a big Aussie crew will be ready and rearing to go for Almere 2021, ahead of Townsville 2022. This now means that: 2021 Almere (The Netherlands) 2022 Townsville (Australia) 2023 Ibiza (Spain) will now host the event in 2023. Read more https://bit.ly/Townsville2022 : Delly Carr

08.01.2022 In confusion around Covid 19, don't forget that tomorrow begins the new rule on Facebook that our photos can be used. Remember the deadline is today. They can be used in legal lawsuits against us. Everything we posted today goes public, even deleted messages. It doesn't take anything to make a simple copy and paste: better safe than sorry. I do not allow Facebook or any Facebook training to use my photos, information, messages or posts, both from the past and in the future... ". With this statement, I give a notification to Facebook that it is strictly prohibited to disclose, copy, distribute or take other actions against me based on this profile and / or its content. The content of this profile is private and confidential information. The violation of my personal life can be punished by law. Note: Facebook is now a public entity. Every member should post a note like this. If you prefer, you can copy and place this version. If you don't post the statement at least once, you'll quietly allow the use of your photos and the information contained in profile status updates. Not share ", but copia+pegar ". Their new algorithm picks the same people-around 25-who will read your posts. That's why: Keep your finger everywhere in this post and copy will come out. Click Copy then go to your page, start a new post and put your finger everywhere in the empty field. Paste will come out and click on it. This is going to pass the system. I don't allow Facebook to share anything of mine that I put on their website. Pictures, current or past, posts, phone numbers or email... absolutely nothing can be used in any form without my written permission or verbal content. See more

05.01.2022 Hi Everyone, As things gradually get back to normal, Open water swimming is officially back on each Monday evening 6pm at Frankston Yacht Club with MPTC. I will be taking the session. The following are compulsory: TRIVC registration/membership and preferably our club MPTC (membership is cheaper with both).... TRIVIC also have a 14 day ‘try before you buy’ free trial. Also linked via MPTC website. Swim caps (preferably not black or blue) Wetsuits highly recommended. All levels catered for and you need to be comfortable in choppy water.
