13.01.2022 Finishers are short 5-10 min bursts of exercise done at the end of a workout designed to build up your fitness and burn a few extra calories. Today I kept it real simple, just pick 2 of your favourite exercises, start the clock and go! If you dont want to do squats or push ups Id prob just suggest you make sure to choose 1 upper and 1 lower body exercise so you can keep going throughout the whole finisher. The aim is to work on your conditioning so you want to be able to stay moving the whole time, so when the legs are working the upper body is resting and vice versa. Goodluck and have fun!
08.01.2022 While were all looking for secrets to weight loss, the majority of us can make massive improvements to our health by simply getting good at focusing on the basics. The is to get these things right most of time while also allowing the freedom to break these rules without feeling like a failure. 1 Wholefoods - By focusing on getting food from a variety of vegetables & protein sources well most likely satisfy a lot of our nutrient requirements and be less likely to over ...consume calories. Dont eliminate foods that you love because that wont make you happy and you wont like feeling this way for a long time. So by respectfully including these foods into your diet you will have a better chance of success in the long term. This approach will work for most of us but if you think you have any special requirements just ask a professional instead of guessing or making up your own assumptions. 2 Exercise - Some type of strength training would be recommended but any type of regular exercise is better than none at all. Choose a type of training that you enjoy and can look forward to. Find something that you can track or see progress in because it will help you stick to it for longer without getting bored and stopping. Possibly use it as an opportunity to do more than just exercise, e.g. meet new people, take your mind off work & stress. 3 Quality Sleep - Overlook quality sleep and theres a high chance its going to affect your appetite and cravings. When youre tired most people turn to food for energy and its usually crappy foods that we go for so overeating would be easy to do when youre tired and hungry, plus nobody is happy when theyre tired and hungry so avoid this situation by getting good sleep 4 Having fun - Personally I think this rule is king. If you dont enjoy the process youre almost definitely not going to play this game for a long time. Winning happens when you learn to find ways to enjoy the journey that leads to the goal. You will own this game if you enjoy your food, your training and your day so make this a priority. One meal at a time, one workout at a time, one day at a time. If you enjoy the day, you will enjoy your life!
