14.01.2022 Due to COVID-19 crisis The Beach House Respite Services continues to take action on the advice of Australia’s chief health officials. At this stage we remain OPEN to support participants on a 1:1 basis who are in urgent need of care over the following weeks. Support Workers have been advised to maintain the health and hygiene of all through strict protocols and all social participation activities are under strict review. Our wonderful staff offer individualised, collaborative, community participation for our participants with one main goal, "FUN". Now that the weather is warming up, we have been busy planning more adventures to so many places around the Sunshine Coast including Wildlife HQ, having a go at stand up paddle boarding or canoeing along Golden Beach, surfing at Kings Beach, ...trying not to get lost at Bellingham Maze, visiting local markets, waterfall walks in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, fishing, seeing all the planes at the Queensland Air Museum, bike riding, dining out.....and so much more. These experiences are tailored to the participant's individual abilities and likes. Highly qualified staff work collaboratively to offer full time support and care. 04.01.2022 A wonderful day sharing adventures together. First stop Kenilworth for morning tea. A beautiful drive through the Sunshine Coast hinterland - Maleny, then onto The Beach House. A big swim at Kings Beach followed up by juice bar. A restful afternoon to finish our day with fish and chips in Happy Valley. Think we will all sleep well tonight!
