Following discussions with DHHS to clarify today’s announcement, DHHS has confirmed that the 'second step' information (see link) is the only published advice for the dental profession. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. As the world welcomed peace, thousands returned home to much fanfare, and their loved ones. Thousands more never made the journey home. Poppies are used to remember them because they are the flowers which grew on the battlefields after World War One ended. Lest we forget.

Pre appointment questionnaires will be done over the phone Throughout the practice we have alcohol based hand s...anitiser and upon patient arrival we have our patients rub their hands with it for 20 seconds, upon entering the surgery we have each patient wash their hands to conserve ABHR (Alcohol-Based Hand Rub) in the surgery hand washing sink, prior to sitting in the dental chair. Prior to commencing treatment all patients will be asked to undertake a 30 second pre-procedural chlorhexidine mouth rinse. As recommended by the Australian Dental Association at The Dental Clinic Mount Martha we are performing only urgent and emergency dental treatment this includes dental pain, tooth aches, infections, swelling and trauma.
