Okay so it's only the intro to the actual course completed but one foot in front of the other. ...but I can now tell you that flint is actually made from a fossilised sea sponge found in sedimentary rock and this silicon rich rock is so hard it can be sharpened to a scalpels edge and Native American craftsmen used it for their arrow heads! 04.01.2022 And its done! A super hero ring for the hero in my life. A hematite centre stone isnt the smartest move but it has so much more character than the onyx I had. Its not perfect and the stone is soft as an opal but in the meantime, I love the look.

04.01.2022 With renewed enthusiasm I announce our workshop will be in action to the beautiful public again next week. Last year was with little sleep, many creative and quality jobs, and a contract on a big project which is ongoing into this year which Im really excited about, (Stay tuned). A highlight was returning to Enmore Design Centre exhibition night and watch some of my dearest friends in the year below me win well deserved awards! It was great catching up with my old teachers a...gain too. It must be said: A shout out to all those fighting to save our country since November last year. Our home was a suburb away from a serious bush fire which took countless fauna but not a single house, not even a fence paling. I count my blessings everyday and this was definitely one of them. My heart truly goes out to those many more less fortunate. This has really unified our countrymen and women and when the fires finally cease we will see how good us Aussie battlers take care of each other! My 2020 vision foresees the skies to be clear of smoke, yet cloudy with regular rains but still bright with the smiles of satisfied clients...and a happy green country.

02.01.2022 Using the award voucher I got from Enmore Design Centre and Sovereign Gems, (and then spent a bit more), and got this beauty of a ruby. The basket was formed by pouring molten gold into water. I proudly and nervously set the ruby myself which meant I didnt breathe for a while... And dad gifted me the chain.
