19.01.2022 ***** PLEASE READ IN FULL ***** In order to assist Australia and our frontline healthcare workers to contain the current COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to voluntarily close our clinic until after Easter. We will then reassess the situation from there.... Due to the high risk nature of dental work, and at the recommendation of the Australian Dental Association (ADA), we will be restricting dental treatment on a Level 3 basis. This means we will only be seeing you if you have: - Swelling of the face, neck or mouth - Dental Trauma causing change in the position of the teeth, soft tissue damage and/or significant pain - Significant bleeding - Difficulty opening the jaw and/or swallowing - Referral from a specialist medial practitioner requiring life-saving medical care (surgery, radiation, chemotherapy or assessments requiring dental review prior) - Dental pain causing loss of sleep - Ulcers persisting for 3 or more weeks We will be monitoring our phone calls and emails during our temporary closure to answer any enquiries, arrange any emergency treatment or a consult over the phone to triage your dental problem. Please leave a message on our landline if needed and we will get back to it as soon as possible. There will be our emergency mobile clinic number on the voicemail message. We want to assure our patients that we are here for them during this unprecedented time. This WILL pass and we look forward to seeing you all on the other side. TAKE CARE, STAY SAFE, STAY HEALTHY - THE TEAM AT THE LIVERPOOL DENTIST Clinic Phone: 02 9824 0303 Email: [email protected]

Whilst we are physically shut, we will be available to our patients in any way we can. We will be monitoring our phone calls and emails during our closure to answer any enquiries, arrange any emergency treatment or consult over the phone to triage your dental problem. We have chosen to do this at no cost to you. We may also require that you send photos through, or have video calling (FaceTime, Skype, Zoom) available to you. If appropriate, we can prescribe remotely and/or refer you to another dental practice which is open to emergencies and has appropriate PPE and measures in place. We would like to remind patients that it is now mandated across ALL dental practices to only carry out dental procedures under Level 3 Restrictions.
