24.01.2022 Today we were excited to welcome our first school groups back to the MECC since the beginning of COVID-19 to see The 91-Storey Treehouse - Live on stage! We added signs to the seats to help the schools physically distance - the excitement on the kids faces was priceless!

24.01.2022 Queensland Youth Orchestras is pleased to present a free concert Best of Big Band featuring the QYO Big Band directed by Bohdan Davison, with singer Elizabeth Wentz. The concert is on Monday 30 November from 7pm to 8.15pm at the Mackay Christian College Powerhouse Auditorium, Ambrose Way, North Mackay. The band will play some of the best known big band songs including Sway, Sunny Side of the Street, For Once in My Life and much more.... All welcome!

Established by our late founder, Trudy Crowley, who's battle with ovarian cancer prompted her to establish something that would be lasting and positive. Ovarian cancer is the 8th most common cancer diagnosed and the 6th most common cause of cancer death. More than 1500 Australian women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer each year. ... Currently only 43% of women diagnosed with ovarian cancer will be alive 5 years later.
