25.01.2022 Hello to all our valued customers! Just a small post to inform/remind everyone that our southern Carpark ( between the bar and Palais theater ) Is a shared Carpark. ... Being a close community as the Huon Valley is, i am sure most of you already know this. The Palais is an important part of our community and holds many varied and wonderful events for our community. To be sure that our neighbor the Palais theater can look after their clientele, we here at the Moorings’s @ Lady Franklin ask if everyone could avoid parking along the Palais wall and park their vehicles along the bar side of the Carpark or if that is full, in our restaurant or northern Carpark. I am working hard with my amazing Landlord Nyal to provide more Carpark space to the southern side of the hotel as soon as is possibly viable. He is looking to create more spaces at no small cost to himself personally, so i would like to thank him for being an understanding and a much valued member of the community. I thank everyone for their understanding in regards to parking at the Moorings, and thank Nyal for being a wonderful person and great landlord. 25.01.2022 The time we have long been waiting for is finally here! Our bar will be officially open as of tomorrow, but there are some guidelines we have to follow. The maximum amount of people we are allowed in the bar space is 26, so we recommend calling ahead if you are worried you may be turned away. Sitting at the bar is not permitted yet, but we will have designated tables for drinkers set out. It is a government requirement that you must be seated at a table if you would like to h...ave a drink with us, but you can approach the bar to order your drinks. The maximum people we can have on premises is 80 at any given time, which allows the dining room to seat 54 people. This means bookings will be essential to avoid missing out, call us on 6266 3813 to secure a spot. In order to keep 1.5m away from patrons we will not be offering table service at this time, please follow staff instructions on this when dining with us. There are also hand sanitation stations at each entry upon arrival. Lastly, if you are feeling unwell please refrain from drinking or dining with us for everyone's safety. These restrictions will be readdressed at the end of the month, so we will keep you updated on here of any changes. 24.01.2022 Hey guys, we have created a separate menu for vegan and vegetarian options to make selecting a meal easier. Please ask for the menu when dining in with us and we can provide you with a copy :) We are also fully booked tonight, but we can still offer takeaway orders for pick up or delivery, call us on 6266 3813. If ordering a delivery it is a $5 fee and the order must be above $30. We can deliver as far North as Grove and as far South as Geeveston. Thank you!

24.01.2022 FATHERS DAY!! Thats right, this Sunday is all about the dad’s out there! For this Fathers Day bring your beloved Father out to the moorings for a lovely lunch or dinner. We will be offering our full menu as well as 2 special meal options.... First is a slow cooked beef cheek, served on a Milanese saffron risotto. Our second selection is a blue eye trevalla fillet, topped with garlic prawns w/ chips and salad. Both options come with either a sticky days pudding, or a decadent chocolate brownie for $38. 19.01.2022 Just an update on the happenings at the Lady Franklin Hotel. We are now offering home deliveries. There is a minimum order of $30 and a delivery fee of $5 for the driver. We will deliver between grove and geeveston, between 12-3pm and 5-8pm 7 days a week. Call 62663813 to place an order for pick up or delivery.... I will attach the offered menu here. 17.01.2022 To our valued customers, We have had the unfortunate news that as of 12pm 23/03/2020 we have had to close the restaurant and bar to the public as per the new legislation. We will however be offering takeaway meals and drinks. I am currently looking into the possibility of also doing home deliveries through this difficult period.... 17.01.2022 WEEKLY SPECIALS Hello to everyone, We hope you all had a great Easter! I know personally, it was definitely a different experience to usual.... For this next week as well as the takeaway menu, we will be offering a couple of prime Tassie cuts of beef . First is our Fillet Mignon for $34. It is a 200g cut of beef tenderloin wrapped in bacon and cooked to your liking! This is served with your choice of our house gravies and accompanied with mash and seasoned greens or if preferred, chips and salad! Our second offering is prime 250g strip-loin (Porterhouse steak) for $28, Cooked to your liking and served with chips and salad, with your choice of our house gravies. Remember that as well as takeaway, if you don’t feel like driving, we offer our home delivery service from Grove to Geeveston. A minimum order of $30 and a $5 fee for our driver. 12.01.2022 Hello to all, I would just like to let everyone know that we have secured some individually wrapped 3 ply toilet rolls. If anyone is passing by, or collecting meals they are available for $2 a roll. We can also deliver them for anyone ordering a home delivered meal. We will be starting to stock some essential items such as coffee, milk, bread, sugar ect. I will update here as more items become available. 08.01.2022 Hello to all.!! We are sooooo excited to announce that we will be opening our restaurant to the public again from tomorrow Monday the 18/05/2020!! There are certain rules and guidelines that we need to adhere to as per government legislation. ... Firstly is the limit of 10 patrons on premises at any time. To ensure we can cater to as many of our customers as possible, and to ensure everyone has ample time to relax and enjoy their experience. We will be having 3 evening sittings, these will be 4pm-5.30pm, 5.30pm-7pm and 7pm- close. Lunch and afternoon sittings will be on available also, so please contact us anytime for meals. With these restrictions, we highly recommend calling and booking ahead where possible as it will be first in best dressed We will have sanitization stations set up at both restaurant entrances and encourage everyone to make use of them upon arrival. We also request that upon entry that our customers wait at the designated areas inside the door to be shown to their tables. This will help with us adhering to the 10 person limit we must keep. We have new procedures to help keep the 1.5 meter limit for everyone’s safety, so please follow the instructions of our staff at all times. Unfortunately it looks like it will be mid July before we are able to open our bar to patrons, unless legislation is amended before that time. As we will be still offering both our takeaway and home delivery services as well as dining in. We will continue to use the bar window for collection of takeaway meals. We have a new and expanded menu for both dine in and takeaway / home delivery meals which i will upload here now There is a wide selection of gluten free and vegetarian options included to satisfy all our clientele. We sincerely thank everyone who has supported us with our takeaway and home delivered meals during this unprecedented time, and everyone who supported all the small businesses in the valley!! We look forward to seeing everyone again in our establishment, as an empty restaurant feels like it is missing its soul. 01.01.2022 Hello to everyone, I would like to thank everyone that is making use of our takeaway and home delivered meals!! It is the understanding, camaraderie and support of all our valued customers, that will enable us to still be here whenever this crisis has ran its course and we are able to reopen for normal trade. As was expected, we had a couple of teething issues last night. So if anyone waited longer than expected for meals, I humbly apologize for that. Some of our valued cus...tomers are a bit further away than we realized. We have done some fine tuning in how we take the delivery orders and worked with our driver to resolve this. I hope the ability to deliver meals to those that don’t feel to venture out or are vulnerable is helping in a small way!! Once again, thanks to everyone for all the support and well wishes. 01.01.2022 Hello everyone! We hope everyone is happy and healthy!! This week with Mothers Day coming up we are offering a special for all the mothers out there. This Sunday you can order a 300g Salmon cutlet with chips and salad or veggies if preferred for $30. We will accompany this with a homemade apple crumble with vanilla bean ice cream at no extra charge!... As always, all our meals are available takeaway or home delivered. For home delivery we have a $30 minimum order and a $5 delivery fee for our driver. We have been keeping busy here at the Moorings’s @ Lady Franklin with some maintenance during this lockdown period we are all experiencing. When you are able to come back to our establishment, you will find the Lady has had a lovely facelift with fresh paint in the interior and a few other little upgrades!! We look forward to everything returning to normal, and being able to welcome everyone back to the establishment!! Im the meantime we will be here whenever your hunger calls for a Moorings’s meal!!
