13.01.2022 This Oat Mylk recipe from @simpleishlivin is a great non-dairy coffee alternative. Recipe: > 3/4 cup of rolled oats > 1 litre of water... > 1 cup of ice (I read that heat and the blending process actually makes the oats gluey, so the ice will help keep it creamy) > 1 handful of soaked cashew nuts (kinda like the oil and fat to make it creamy) > maple syrup to taste > pinch of salt Blend all together! Instead of squeezing the mylk - strain with a sift and a cheese cloth. In terms of heating the oat mylk. It does turn a little gluey, but it doesn’t separate! It’s also awesome in a cold brew. This is how I prefer to drink it (You can make cookies or pancakes out of the pulp ) Love this recipe via @thesourcecaloundra
12.01.2022 Ohhhhh tropical summer morning oats! I like! . Tropical overnight oats 55g (about 1/2 cup) rolled oats 10g (1 tbsp) chia seeds... Juice and seeds of 1 passion fruit 2 tsp of your favorite natural sweetener (maple syrup, coconut nectar, raw honey...) 180ml (3/4 cup) of plant milk Add all ingredients to a jar or a bowl and mix well to combine. Let sit in the fridge overnight. In the morning give it a quick stir, top with coconut cream (or yogurt, but I recommend cream ), chopped mango, passion fruit, coconut chips and (optional) puffed quinoa. If desired, add an extra drizzle of syrup or honey. Enjoy! . Recipe from @oatmeal_stories via @thesourcelutwyche See more

06.01.2022 How amazing do these Pink Dragonfruit Gummies from @thesourcemaroubra look! Pink Pitaya, or Dragon Fruit, has a natural pink colouring and contains Vitamin C so it’s a great treat to replace sugary and artificially coloured sweets Homemade Pink Pitaya Gummies 2 cups water... 3 tsp organic Pink Pitaya Dragonfruit Powder 20g raw honey 50g natural gelatine Mix water and pitaya powder together until well combined. Add gelatine and pitaya mixture to a small saucepan. Gently heat on low and stir with a metal spoon until the gelatin absorbs all of the liquid, known as blooming. Do not boil or simmer. Add honey and stir until blended well. Remove from heat immediately. Set aside and cool to room temperature. Pour into a silicone ice cube tray. Refrigerate for at least hour before removing from tray. Store in fridge and best brought to room temperature before eating.
