I devote myself to being fully expressed and going all in on all that I do I- so to realise I had unconsciously fallen into a state of cruise control... didn’t sit well with me. 22.01.2022 HOP TO IT We love simple, effective burners that will get the job done without too much fuss. If you don’t have time to muck around with equipment set ups or... you only have a small space to pump out your session - this ones for you. If I could only use one piece of equipment for the rest of my life - it would be a kettle bell. You can attack this workout in 2 ways. 1. Set a timer for 30 second intervals and smash through 30 seconds of each movement. Complete 5 rounds. 2. Complete 30 reps of each movement and wall sit for 60 seconds. Complete 5 rounds. Either way you will get a great workout in next to no time! I’m adding this to 20 mins on the treadmill this morning - JOB DONE

12.01.2022 TIPS TO MANAGE EARLY MORNING SESSIONS We will spare you the fake pump up we aren’t jumping out of bed and high fiving each other. But we silently support ourselves (and in turn, each other) in making mornings manageable we have been rising well before the sun for well over a decade, and have this down pat!... Our tips for getting up and getting on with it are simple but effective! 1. It all starts with the night before. Organise everything you need for the morning and have it laid out so that you can move on auto pilot when you get out of bed. Set your alarm and COMMIT to rolling over and getting up as soon as your alarm wakes you 2. DO NOT PRESS SNOOZE. Ever again. One of us will inevitably mutter to each other lets do it and we swing our feet to the floor and get up. Just like that. There is no magic to it. Just following through and actioning our intentions. 3. Coffee. Black. Strong. As soon as possible. If you aren’t a coffee drinker, bless your adrenals and your self starting way of life. For us coffee comes before ANYTHING else in the morning. 4. Get changed and brush your teeth and while its cold, layer up. Dark and early mornings are made worse when they are cold too! Beanies and jackets and whatever else you can throw on to keep you warm as you step outside will help! 5. Music & personal mantras. We use the time we drive to the gym to really anchor into the mindset we know will best serve us throughout the day. Music lifts our spirit and personal mantras align us to who we are committed to knowing ourselves as. If you are exercising ONLY because you have set yourself a fixed goal and so every session is about getting one step closer to that... you are likely in the process of self sabotage. ... Yup. Here’s the unpopular truth. Goal setting can stop you from reaching your goals IF you are not guided in being able to set the goal, create the strategy and then be unattached to goal in its pursuit. Confused? Lets make it real simple - instead of focusing on the end result, try instead set goals based on who you are choosing to BE rather than only setting goals on what you will be able to ACHIEVE. If our focus is only on achievement - even though we logically know we are a step closer every day, there will be part of us that becomes frustrated, impatient and ready to throw it all in ... sometimes we give 110% effort only to realise we are still a long way from achieving the goal, right? Self sabotage shows up in those moments. Those are the moments we question our commitment and begin to polish our excuses. So, here’s what we invite you to try - set goals based on who you choose to be and how your decisions will make you feel. You will immediately be able to experience success in this way.
