25.01.2022 Not to be outdone by Think Future team mate, Georgia Sinclair, Fletcher Armstrong also raced at GP1 last weekend and had a fantastic weekend of racing, winning all his U18 events. Super stoked for him, big season ahead! Big endurance base from ocean paddling helping him through a massive weekend of racing.

24.01.2022 Couldn’t be more proud of Georgia Sinclair winning the U19 and coming second in the Open Women’s Dash for Cash at the Shaw and Partners Race Week in Perth today. What a ripper. That Shaw and Partners ski looked the part too

We have a spot on our team for someone chomping at the bit to get into the most exciting aspect of paddling around. A few criteria: must be U19... Sydney based (or close by) commitment to attending several AORS and Harbour Series events across the season froth on paddling solid banter! Feel free to PM through this page if this sounds like you!

18.01.2022 Thank you to all the eager young paddlers who have applied to be part of the Think Future Team for the coming season. It’s fantastic to see so many young kids wanting to get involved with ocean racing. I will be working through applications over the coming week and will try reply to everyone by then. In the mean time, keep paddling hard!

15.01.2022 Georgia Sinclair has dipped her toe into Sprint kayaking, and made a big splash at her first regatta. Absolutely stoked to hear how well she went in Adelaide at GP1 and that it was a really enjoyable weekend of racing. She’s coming into the sprint season with a big endurance base from all the ocean ski paddling, so it’s going to be fun watching her progress through the season.

10.01.2022 Happy birthday to team paddler Fletch Armstrong, who turns 18 today. Have a lovely day, Fletch, will be one to remember with lockdown, but no doubt still a cracker of a day. Can’t wait til we’re back racing, hopefully not long to go.

07.01.2022 I’d like to give a shout out to Oceanpaddler, who have set up a youth team, like what we do with Think Future. A few years ago I came up with the idea of Think Future to attract new, and specifically young paddlers into ocean racing. It’s been a great success and feedback from the paddling community has been nothing but positive. The Investec Young Guns have announced a huge line up of 8 paddlers. Geez I wish we had those resources, I’d love nothing more than to have 80 you...ngsters racing for us! I’ll be announcing our new roster for the 2020/21 season in the coming weeks, and we can’t wait to see all these young paddlers going head to head on race days, learning from each other, supporting each other and forming friendships as well as rivalry. Exciting times for ocean racing grass roots, no doubt.

06.01.2022 Very proud to have two Think Unos on the podium in the U19 girls at Bridge to Beach. Well done to Georgia Sinclair and Eliza Johnson on some terrific racing on Sydney Harbour.

04.01.2022 Fletch Armstrong had a cracking race at Bridge to Beach with a third spot in the U19 and a great overall finish. He’s been flying in the K1 recently, and carried that form onto the ski in fine fashion, getting his Uno humming across Sydney Harbour.

01.01.2022 We don’t know when we’re back racing, but Think Future is ready to represent. Introducing our 2020/21 team: Eliza Johnson - Swansea Belmont Fletcher Armstrong - Avoca ... Josh Murphy - Swansea Belmont Think Future is about providing opportunities to junior paddlers, as well as inspiring the next generation by having an aspiration of making a team like ours. The Uno is the ski of choice for our team paddlers, combined with Vaikobi paddle wear to ensure top performance on race day. Think Future is proudly supported by Shaw and Partners and Think Kayak Australia. Let’s hope it’s not too long until we’re all on a race line and doing what we love, racing red hot skis in awesome locations.
