The occasion took place on 17th March 2018 after extensive retorations by the new owner, Peter Cipollone and his loyal team of deaf workers. You wont be disappointed! The volume is low, not sure why, but still wanted to post how I made this. 1/2 cup of Oyster Sauce & 1/3-1/4 cup of Hoison & light Soy Sauce is all you need! Instructions: 1. On medium high heat prepare & cook your meat - Beef, Chicken, Shrimp, etc. 2. Add 1-2 cans of Chinese Vegetables. 3. Toss vegetables with meat. 4. Add your Hoison & Oyster sauce. Oyster sauce is the one you want the most of. Add Hoison according to taste as it has a sweeter taste. 5. Add Soy Sauce for added flavor. 6. Serve over Rice (Jasmine)

03.01.2022 I am very saddened and upset that Smiths Paddock has been renamed after Ron Mulock. Yes, he was an incredible man and did unbelievably good things for Penrith, but, he never was involved in the Thornton Estate ... at all. Couldnt something else more befitting have been named after him?. All the 320 acres that the whole of Thornton is built on, belonged to my Grt grt grandfather, Thomas Smith who built Thornton Hall up on the hill in c1870s. All the land was originally his o...rchard and cow and horses pastures. It later became Penrith Speedway 1924 to 1943. Why has nothing on the Estate been named after Thomas Smith ????... Yes, I have previously emailed Landcom/Urban Growth many times about keeping the oval named by the affectionate name it has been known and referred by...SMITHS PADDOCK... to honour Thomas Smith.
