21.01.2022 Hi everyone, we had a great turn out for our 25th Anniversary on 12th &13th October. Good to see a number of our Foundation members were able to come along as w...ell. David Nicolson, our photographer was also very busy and some of his work is posted. Jim Creagh, a Foundation member put in a lot of time to prepare and organise the event. The guys in the workshop were more than busy with grease guns and oil cans to get some of the old machines going for the day, well done all. See more

21.01.2022 This Fowler Steam Tractor Engine arrived at South Wharf Fremantle in 1921. It was purchased by the Lands Department of WA to clear land for the Soldier Settlement Scheme to settle returned soldiers on the land. It was also used in the Eastern Goldfields, Wundowie and Karragullan. The Fowler is famous - it was featured in the television program "A fortunate life". Come visit us and be fascinated by the steam engine parts and this gigantic tractor.

18.01.2022 The one on the right, with the rusty cab, is the one Steve refers to in his photo. John Deere 6030.

18.01.2022 Hi All, The Chamberlain event is now only a week away, next Saturday 18th. We have had a good response from "old" employees who have dug up a huge number of Photos etc.. It will be good to meet up with these people next week. Our display is all ready and we trust all our visitors enjoy the event.

17.01.2022 The old girl sees sunlight again after many months of restoration. Having just been washed down it looks all shiny and sparkling in its new paint job. It is hard to wait to see it fired again - if only to take its place in the indoor display. Of late it has be a one man effort and the dogged determination to do the jobs once an get them right has really paid off. There are only a few minor things left to complete the restoration. Congratulations Geoff on job well done.

16.01.2022 The Tractor Museum has a collection of tiny tractors as well as the really large ones on display in the Museum. They could be classed as children's toys but they are so well made and lifelike they are mini replicas and collectible items. Some of the mini tractors also have farm equipment attached. You're welcome to bring the family along to see them.

08.01.2022 Hi All, We had a big turn up for our Chamberlain 70th Anniversary. It was good to see so many former employees present. The next event will be our 25th Anniversary. More details will be posted when arrangements have been finalised. We have just received into our workshop a Chamberlain 306. It has been stripped down and ready to be washed down before it goes into the workshop for an overhaul followed by a visit to the paint shop and finally will be on display in the Museum.

07.01.2022 This old McCormick turned up in the workshop the other day. The tractor has been in storage in the back shed for a min of 7 years and probably much longer than that. It was a bit of a surprise given that the intentions were to clear up maintenance on TM tractors on display before further restorations took place. The tractor needs pistons fitted and is reported to be all there except for the carby that has gone missing. No doubt the display committee has it all in hand.
