11.01.2022 Big shout out to Andy from PoP ( Paradise on Paper). Andy did an amazing job of drawing our shop earlier in the year and then produce a couple of framed prints for us at Christmas time. The level of detail is amazing and we greatly appreciate the time taken to produce this art work. Thanks again Andy, akparadiseonpaper for the instagram followers.

11.01.2022 Our little nursery section has a couple months to go before the summer heat kicks in and knocks out some of the softer herbs like corrainder and dill and edible flowers. We will have a big wave of corrainder plants ready for the end of next week. Our rosemary is progressing well but won't be ready until next month. Next winter we will expand our range now that we have a better idea on the length of time different herbs take to mature and grow from seed.

11.01.2022 Mango time is here....the ladies have been busy all morning loading up one of our displays with the first Bowen mangos of the season....We will have an abundance of fruit avalible all month and into Januray.

06.01.2022 Rise and shine everyone, it is Christmas eve and we are ready to go here at Fairfield. 05.01.2022 Mango madness, it's that time of year...Even though our store is fully loaded, we can't resist buying in more mangos for everyone. We don't have them in store yet but the Alligator Creek farm on the high way has started picking and we just checked them out for potential Christmas fruit. Low volumes in crop numbers means we will be sourcing mangos from a number of local farms this yes to keep up with demand. The crop is late and volume is low so hook in early and enjoy the local mangos while you can.

03.01.2022 Thanks to our local pineapple farmers at Crystal Creek, we have real living pineapple plants available in the store at the moment. We won't be able to get any more due to the southern demand so if you would like one, grab it while we have them. Yes they're real, living and edible pineapple plants. Grown at Crystal Creek just north of Town. Perfect little pre Christmas gift that looks great with some Xmas decoration on them. Fruit should be ready to eat in January but don't forget to give the plants a drink once or twice a week.

02.01.2022 Christmas is not far away now...Our first load of Christmas hams have just arrived. Also we have extra salami in today so we can hang and start aging some for those that like them a little firmer in the coming weeks. We only have two more weeks to order any salami before our main producer shuts down for the end of December and into early January so please pre order to avoid Christmas and New year disappointment.
