11.01.2022 Remember that preparation is so important Here's just a few tip's before you start the job 1. Clear the area of any furniture to give yourself ample working space.... 2. Lay down a drop sheet and clean your walls with sugar soap. You may be tempted to skip this step, however a clean surface is your best insurance against a ruined paint job. 3. Mask your trim for cutting-in. Cutting-in is a technique whereby you paint with a brush or application pad, the areas that can’t be reached with a roller. 4. Load your brush by dipping it into the paint roughly half the length of the bristles. Tap the brush on the side of the paint pot to remove the excess. Start brushing a few centimeters from the corner or edge. As you move the brush, you will establish the line of the edge of the paint. Drag the brush in to the edge so that the line on the paint follows the edging. 5. Now you’re ready to roll out the wall. To load your roller push it forward on the tray then lift it to see if it spins evenly. If your roller is unbalanced, it’s because the paint isn’t evenly applied, so continue rolling it over the tray with full rotations to spread the paint evenly. 6. Start from where you cut in and roll across the wall. For best results, roll as far into the brushed area as possible.

Please head on over and tell us what you think But for now, I'll leave you with a yummy easy dessert for Christmas Have a fabulous weekend everyone & stay safe Recipe: INGREDIENTS 600ml thickened cream 300g box Coles meringue discs 1/4 cup icing sugar mixture 420g tub lemon curd 12 Raffaellos Small fresh mint leaves, to serve Pomegranate seeds, to serve White chocolate stars, to serve METHOD Step 1 Using an electric mixer, beat cream until just-firm peaks. Step 2 Place one meringue disc on a serving plate. Top with 1/3 of the whipped cream and half the lemon curd. Top with another meringue disc, half the remaining cream and remaining lemon curd. Top with remaining meringue disc and remaining cream. Top with Raffaellos, mint and pomegranate seeds. Thanks to www.taste.com.au

08.01.2022 Our daughter sent this to me today & I thought it was funny It's been a while since I've posted on our page, business and life have been a little hectic. Our next bundle of joy is due in just five more week's. .. we can't wait ... We've just finished some painting at a Primary School nestled in the Adelaide Hills, so tomorrow we start on a beautiful home that we're painting before the new owners are moving into late next week. 03.01.2022 Nutella Chocolate Mousse - yummy for the weekend Ready in just 15 minutes, Brianna will love it as she's really into Nutella right now) Featured in Coles Magazine, Easy desserts... INGREDIENTS 100g dark chocolate, chopped 300ml thickened cream, chilled 1/2 cup (165g) Nutella Crumbled Cadbury Flake chocolate bar, to serve METHOD Step 1 Place dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water (make sure bowl doesn’t touch the water). Stir with a metal spoon for 3-4 mins or until chocolate just melts. Set aside for 5 mins to cool slightly. Step 2 Use an electric mixer to whisk the cream in a large bowl until soft peaks form. Add the Nutella and whisk until the mixture is just combined. Add the melted chocolate. Use a large metal spoon to gently marble. Step 3 Spoon the mousse evenly among serving glasses. Sprinkle with Flake bar and serve immediately.

03.01.2022 Exciting times Our Granddaughter Madison has lost her very first tooth. . and her proud dad has just sent me this photo (I'm guessing that he "helped " her slightly in getting it loose enough to come out lol ) She'll be wanting to get to bed super early so the Tooth Fairy visits her.... It's been a busy few months for us with a record number of properties to paint and the painter's have done an amazing job keeping up with the work load. 03.01.2022 Welcome to the world little one Our daughter gave birth to our latest grandchild yesterday and he's absolutely gorgeous. Madison is now officially a BIG sister to little "Jake " weighing 3.5kg It's lovely to have another grandson in the family along with all our beautiful granddaughter's.

02.01.2022 It's the usual Springtime madness for us at the moment, with many people taking advantage of the lovely weather and wanting to get us to prepare their homes already to put them on the market. The painter's are doing an amazing job at keeping up with the work load. Our daughter just sent this adorable photo of our latest grandson little Jake, she sent in to the Advertiser and it came out in today's newspaper. He's an adorable little thing and his big sister Madison love'...s having a baby brother. I can't believe he's already seven weeks old on Monday.
