25.01.2022 The Heritage Surfboards Vintage Logger is a descendant from the finest designs of the 1960s Australian longboard scene. This graceful lady stays true to her origins, with templates drawn from Australia's rich surfing history. A soft rolled bottom, with a flat section under the nose for extended tip time and a forgiving 50/50 rail allows the Vintage logger to cruise down the line and pull out all the stylish moves from the era. This temptress is my personal ride of choice when... style counts. Weirs Surfshop at Memorial ave, Cotton Tree, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, is now stocking these superb traditional logs. Just in time for the winter logging season, over the next two weeks, we are running a winter special on stocked Hertiage Surfboards logs. Be quick, these are high end boards with no expense spared on the construction of these beautiful boards. They are truly stunning. Currently on special discount are 2@ 9'6" logs, both are glassed in double 7.5 oz glass bottom and deck, and a 7.5 oz deck patch, traditional leggy briges and glassed on 10.5" hand layed and foiled fins. The blanks are high density foam with coloured foam stringers sandwiched between 1/8" cedar. As pictured these are a stunning products that is built to last generations not a few years. There is even a few second handies on offer.Winter sale prices strating from $800-$1500. For more info check out our website: www.heritagesurfboards.com, or call into Weirs and see the guys. Kind regards Alex Heritage surfboards

19.01.2022 A Heritage Surfboards, pastel mint, 9'4" Vintage Logger in the process of glassing for a custom order.

16.01.2022 The Ride book, has the original Midget vee-bottom images from 1967. The book, compiled by Dick Graham - the man who started US SURFING magazine in the early 60s. http://hodaddy.com.au/collecti/books/products/the-ride-book

14.01.2022 The next Heritage Surfboards Traditional Logger is on it's way. MS Surfboards in house glasser, Gilly, has once again created another master piece for us. This guy is on another level altogether when it comes to the art of glassing. Thanks guys; totally psyched with the quality of the finished product you are producing for us. We will keep you posted with photos of the finished boards in the coming weeks. There are some insane Loggers coming through.

13.01.2022 Heritage Surfboard's Vintage Logger. Mint pastel pigment, cedar stringer. 9'4" x 23 1/8" x 3". She sure does shine like a diamond. What a beautiful board to surf. The standard Traditional Logger can be ordered with either a glass on or box fin set up.

10.01.2022 How many of you picked up your new board from this shop? This is the only photo I've ever seen of the outside of our 1820 PCH Hermosa Beach shop. In this 1966 photo, Danny Polk is picking up his new DN Noserider. Eddie Hoag in the plaid shorts, photo by Bob Warner

08.01.2022 The next Heritage Surfboards Vintage Logger; fresh from the polishing room. A lemon butter resin tint; glassed in double 7.5 oz bottom and deck with a 7.5 oz deck patch, glassed on fin and leggy bridge. Blank stringer combination is a high density red foam with 1/8" cedar either side.

04.01.2022 The Heritage Surfboards decal and our in house female shaper, Kate's, decal, sets this gorgeous board off.

02.01.2022 Gluing - Adding the last few clamps to the nose area of 11'6" Jose Angel balsa wood gun. We use harder wood blocks on the rails so we don't crush the soft balsa wood when tightening the clamps

01.01.2022 What a perfectionist. Kate really has developed into a top level shaper. The attached images are of her latest Heritage Surfboard shape; a mint green Traditional Logger. Having a balance of a male and a female shapers on staff here at Heritage Surfboards brings with it a happy, healthy environment to further our beliefs in providing quality not quantity. Tradition, craftsmanship, style. No exceptions. Alexander Baxter Heritage Surfboards.
