25.01.2022 I’m very excited that I’m about to stock rose quartz yoni eggs at my physio practice! I feel extremely passionate about women’s health and these eggs are a fantastic way to strengthen your pelvic floor, decrease stored pelvic tension, improve sensation, pleasure and lubrication. I’m also about to start some post graduate women’s health training so that I can offer much more in depth assessment and treatment for the physical issues related to women’s health. I feel extremely... passionate about this topic, and I really want to bring this conversation out into the light. It’s been hidden away way too long, with people feeling shame or stigma talking about vaginas, vulvas, incontinence and orgasm. It is an extremely personal and difficult issue for so many, and I know I have a big role to play in helping people find solutions. If you’re not local and you’re keen on getting yourself a yoni egg (or any of the other amazing products on offer) I also have an affiliate link, so you can click on this and order, and feel free to ask for my advice or help. 24.01.2022 It has been an extremely difficult decision to make, and initially I thought I would remain open, but I have decided that after today, I will be closing my Physiotherapy Business until further notice. Although I’m still classed as an essential service, and I could keep on working, and I know I have a large amount of clients who would undoubtedly benefit from me remaining open, I feel this is the best decision for myself, my family and also our community. I’m taking the warn...ings very seriously, and it is my belief that we need to do much much more than we are currently doing to stop the spread of coronavirus in Australia. It’s going to be uncomfortable and extremely annoying to put strict measures into place, my husband and I are both aware that for the second time this year we will be without an income and that’s never a great thing to face, but we are prepared to do it to lower the risk of this thing spreading. Uncomfortable is a far better option than what we will all be facing if this thing gets out of control here. And it will if we don’t all take immediate and serious steps to isolate. I implore you, that unless you really are an essential worker, to fully isolate yourself and your family and do whatever it takes. I do not want to be looking back in 6 months time and wishing I had taken this more seriously and taken the steps to isolate earlier. Thankful for every person who has supported my business especially during the trying times we all faced earlier this year, wishing you all health and happiness, and looking forward to getting back to work when it’s safe

21.01.2022 A new look for my clinic space.

18.01.2022 New massage chair just arrived. Great for pregnancy or anyone who struggles with lying down for treatment. It’s so comfortable I could actually fall asleep in it!

13.01.2022 Today is my last working day of 2020. What a year it’s been. I am so looking forward to taking 3 weeks off. I don’t think I’ve ever needed a break as much as I do now! I want to thank you all for the huge amount of support you have given my small business this year. When the bushfires came through and I had to unexpectedly close my business immediately following the Christmas break (and those of you who are self-employed will appreciate that you don’t get paid when you don’t... work), the outpouring from our friends and families and total strangers all over the world kept me running. Over 80 appointments were donated by people who wanted to do something to help, giving me immediate income, and I worked long and hard to fulfil all of those, giving much needed massages and physio to our locals who were suffering. When I unexpectedly had to close again only a few short months later, I was blown away by the support I received when I opened back up. I have never been so busy as I have this year. I actually struggled to keep up with the demand. It’s been my absolute pleasure to help out this community, you all mean so much to me. I love being able to ease some of your discomfort, be an understanding ear to the stresses and strains you’ve all been through, and give you that time out that for some of you has been the only down-time you’ve had! I witnessed heartache and pain, tears and grief, burnout and despair. It’s actually an honour to me to be able to witness that with you. But I’ve also seen resilience, kindness, friendship and community. I’ve had great big belly laughs, silliness and fun with so many of you too. 2021 will see some changes for my business. Some of them are secret for now, you’ll have to stay tuned to find out. I will also be changing my working hours as my third child starts school, and I’m excited to start embarking on post graduate training to be able to offer more women’s health assessments and treatments, an area I feel very passionate about. I can’t wait to see you all in 2021. And I wish you all a very merry Christmas

11.01.2022 Unfortunately due to stage 4 lockdown I’m no longer allowed to practice, so unless I hear otherwise all appointments are cancelled for Monday Tuesday and Wednesday.Unfortunately due to stage 4 lockdown I’m no longer allowed to practice, so unless I hear otherwise all appointments are cancelled for Monday Tuesday and Wednesday.

10.01.2022 As we enter into Stage 3 lockdown in Victoria, my plan is to continue to stay open. As a medical professional I am able to remain open, but as a private practitioner, this may not be the case under Stage 4 lockdown (my association is trying to get clarification on this). Face masks are mandatory, as is using hand sanitiser. I have already implemented a strict cleaning regimen between each and every client. Please do NOT attend if you have any symptoms even mild ones (please... call to cancel) or if you have any known risk (such as contact with an individual with known COVID 19 or travel to a known hot spot). If COVID 19 cases begin to be reported in our community, I will close my doors, possibly at short notice. And if we enter stage 4 lockdown here, I may well close too. As I am also a mum to 3 little ones, navigating home school, pre-school and childcare may become difficult, and I may choose to close regardless. But for now, I am open for business. I am genera running at fully booked for 2 weeks ahead, so please call early to secure an appointment if you are needing one, on 0401072434. Stay safe everyone

10.01.2022 Lol, I love this!!! I always always get people wondering what they did yesterday that flared up their pain!

07.01.2022 So this is happening from today... pretty claustrophobic! If you have a face mask, please wear it when you come to see me. Not a necessity, but appreciated all the same. Social distancing and physio don’t go together!

06.01.2022 I’m looking forward to returning to work tomorrow after nearly 2 months being closed! I’ve been fully booked for this week for over a week now and I know there are people waiting to book in. Obviously a lot of sore people out there! I can now confirm that I’m taking appointments for next week, for Tuesday 19th, Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st. Please call 0401072434 or message me on Facebook to book in.

05.01.2022 How fantastic that the mental health support in Corryong is growing. I see the impact every day on people who are struggling. I’m busier than I’ve ever been in my physio clinic, but when people are on the physio table, it’s not just their physical health they are struggling with, the emotional toll this year has taken has been huge. A lot of you will come and seek help from me for the physical pain, but have you sought help for the emotional pain? I’m not afraid to admit that I have had counselling this year, and it really helped. If you are struggling, please make that call.

04.01.2022 I’m excited to inform you all that I will be reopening for physio appointments soon. I’m taking bookings currently for Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th May. These are different to my normal days, and I may well adjust these in future weeks depending on demand. Please call me on 0401072434 (don’t text unless you have an iPhone as I won’t receive them) or message me on Facebook. After 7 weeks of total isolation, I will be looking forward to getting back to some work! Obviously if community transmission increases then I may need to adjust this.

04.01.2022 The PM has provided an update on broadened shutdowns. Physiotherapy has been declared essential and is OK to continue. The APA respects members’ individual decision to remain open or close their businesses. Australian Physiotherapy Association

03.01.2022 Taking Physiotherapy bookings now for when I reopen on 11th January, I’ll be working Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Please send me a message on here or on 0401072434 to book in.

03.01.2022 It’s definitely time for an update. Physiotherapy is considered a medical service, so those of you who reside on the NSW side of the border should still be able to get permits to cross back when coming for a physio appointment. Hopefully that will become more clear in the next couple of days. From tomorrow I will be wearing face masks in my clinic. I already clean all my equipment, hands and have a full towel change between each client. ... If you have a face mask, please feel free to wear it during your appointment too. Only one adult in the waiting room at a time. If there is someone already in there, please wait outside. You must use hand sanitiser on entering (provided). If you are unwell, even with mild symptoms, please stay away. You must cancel your appointment otherwise you will still be charged. Please call me on 0401072434 if you need to do so. Since I opened back up after the last shut down, I have had an unprecedented amount of clients. It is hard to keep up. Wait times are longer than normal (averagely one to two weeks), but please call if you need an appointment anyway, as I do operate a waiting list in the event of cancellations. I am hoping to remain open to service this community, as I know it desperately needs it at the moment, so your co-operation is much appreciated at this time.
