15.01.2022 Good news to start the day.

14.01.2022 NSW has recorded another 15 community transmitted cases today. Although this outbreak remains worrying, this is a good result. There hasn't been a spike and the cases have remained localised. Painfully, for many who wanted to spend time with family in Victoria for Christmas, border restrictions have now come into place. This is just heartbreaking for so many families.... Non-Victorians who travel to Victoria from Sydney and Central Coast must complete 14 days of mandatory hotel quarantine. Victorians arriving before 11:59pm Monday can self-isolate at home for 14 days, but after that any coming from "red zone" areas will have to quarantine in a hotel. Thankfully, Victorians completing hotel quarantine in Sydney will not have to quarantine again on return to Victoria.

13.01.2022 #BREAKING: QLD will open to Victorians from December 1. So many jobs rely on tourism in this country, especially during the Christmas break. This is another big step forward in Australia’s recovery from COVID.

Due to the Sydney outbreak it was a different kind of event but at the same time no less humbling.
