08.01.2022 How is it that music can, without words, evoke our laughter, our fears, our highest aspirations? - Jane Swan Music is SO important in today’s society, and I can’t even begin to describe the impact it has had on my life. No matter what mood I’m in, where I am or what I’m doing, there’s always a song or a tune that can better the moment. Music is my form of story telling, and I love nothing more than sharing my stories, my songs, with anyone that is willing to listen. Music ...is my absolute passion, which brings me to the purpose of this post. I believe that if you find something you love, you should share it. So I’d like to offer 1/2 hour music tutorials to anyone willing to learn for $20 a session. Both guitar and drum tutorials are available. My achievements in music are as follows: ***3 time Tasmanian Rock Challenge (State) participant, coming away with first in the band sector in 2016 with Undefined, first in the acoustic sector in 2017 with Dana, Twang and Kiarnna, and runner-up in the band sector in 2018 with Feels. ***Winner of 2018 Launceston Competitions with Feels, also winning ‘best original song.’ ***I have also been a member of acts who have supported the likes of: - Daniel Champagne - Sleepyheads - The Bad Dad Orchestra - Save the Clock Tower - Cuban Heel - Hurricane Youth - The Protagonists - Ben Tome Band - Paper Souls The experience is very flexible and can be tailored to your needs.
