05.05.2022 Partial style yesterday! This one was a fun one, an on the day style which is purely for photos. We only bring in soft furnishings, accessories and smaller pieces of furniture (coffee tables, bedsides, chairs etc.) that can make all the difference! We didn’t use any of our prints for this one as the client had it all sorted. Prior to install we go through the property with the client and advise the best way to present the property. This particular clien...t went and purchased a few accessories herself and changed a few things (eg. the curtains in the boys bedroom). We were very happy with the result! What do you think? When making over a space you don’t have to change every single element in the room to get a different look. Simple changes of statement pieces is all you need! 19.01.2022 ! It is interesting how we only just got the hang of doing property styling quotes in person for it only to be turned on it's head! We are missing the interaction with our clients but know that this is the new Covid-normal. It has been a bit of a change but we have adapted. We are slowly getting the hang of FaceTime tours of houses that are in the Melbourne Metro areas and are excited for when we can show off those installations in coming weeks!

13.01.2022 Have you been watching 'Dream Home Makeover' on Netflix? (Low key obsessed! ) In the first episode the clients request was 'light and bright but warm and moody'. Often these words aren't used in the same sentence as the colours that correlate to these descriptions are the complete opposite. One of our stages are prime example of this exact description - light and bright but warm and moody. We used various pieces of what the home owner already had in the house which heavily influenced the pieces we chose to style the house. Taking into account the home owners style is a must when creating a cohesive look for a partial style!

08.01.2022 I (Jayde) have been on the hunt for a free standing mirror for months! A couple of days after my birthday I walked into @targetaus to find the last of their free standing arch mirror sitting on the shelf. They had just got stock in and I could not believe my luck! I know it is just a mirror, but what a difference it has made to my bedroom (and also my outfit coordination - no mirror = no idea what I look like)

06.01.2022 To , or There is so much more than just picking a tile when renovating kitchen/bathroom etc. One feature that is often left until the last minute is one that is less obvious, the colour of the grout! When choosing the colour of the grout, there are three things to consider:... Do you want it to ? The above image is a great example of camouflage. The grout blends in with the tile colour so there isn't a massive difference between the tile and grout. Camouflaging the grout creates a seamless look overall. Do you want ? If you want your tiles to pop, a contrasting colour will do the job. If we were using the above image as an example, a dark grey would be the pick. A contrasting colour will ultimately stand out when looking at your tiles. Do you want it to ? If you would like to tie in multiple colours from the space into the tiling a great way to do it is complimenting the colours in the grout. Using this image as an example, a white grout would compliment the tiles. Using white brings in the paint, colour of the shelving and the bench.
