09.06.2022 Floods, big and little. We have survived. So very peaceful now. Here is a listening video. Half moon, campfire in the Greek garden near the dam. GREAT BARRED FROG chorus. There was another type of door chime frog, but it went quiet. Just have a listen to something rare.
05.06.2022 Upside down like the weather. Little gully full. Everone and everything WET. Houses safe and dry. Studio just damp. All the building work is up to scratch. Nice.

Finally have Pa Pine up on the tree .... He's guarding our gate
09.05.2022 Maybe the vid went up. We shifted furniture around the studio and 2 small scorpions were surprised when their home was uprooted. One was crushed but this one was OK. Took him further down the creek for release. He never looked back. We got ' em all now. Dangerous STRYANS. Stiinging tree, Jumper ants, usual red belly blacks and scorpions. Grandaughter Morgan says " I love the cottage but, I want to sleep with the doors closed".

Dinner at TWISTED TIN STUDIOS. After dinner we sat on the Cottage verandah and listened to the rain. I lit the storm lantern and we just listened. Frogs, katydids, something , we think the baby goanna on the roof and huge raindrops. We thought, Well we,ll clean up and came into the kitchen and put the light on. When you have off grid power ,you never put a light on unless it,s needed. Well , here,s this moth, into a swirl of tomato sauce on the Tupperware. So ,we left it hav...e it,s fill. When it flew off it went around and around me again. The beat of it,s wings against my bare arms. Then up to the cieling where we could see two golden eyes. I felt it but never heard it. Like so many creatures we have here. The scorpion babies under the wood stove. The melomyes running up my arm at 2.30 am. The parrotts and others. A variety of life. Atten bro ain,t the only one with a few different friends. See more
