22.01.2022 The excitement is building, nerves are on point, and here we are, ready to meet you out front to share the excitement and calm those nerves. A couple of packhorses here but these are one of the moments we are hoping to do again very, very soon. Jess and Sams wedding was definitely one out of the box and we loved every minute of it. A ceremony mid party, with both Jess and Sam being walked down the aisle. Breaking traditions- we love working with our couples to create exactly what they want. My cousin Chris and his beautiful wife Nikki, married in front of their families, over dinner in the city, followed a month later with another wedding celebration in BALI! 14.01.2022 Heres a little lesson for all you wonderful Celebrants starting out. Do NOT wear a dress with a cross over skirt for an outdoor ceremony on a windy day!! Unless you want to either A)Struggle to hold the mic, kindle and skirt down or B) Flash the crowd. Yours truly did both at Lauren and Cleys beautiful ceremony at The Stones. Luckily they were a good bunch who saw the humor in it. 04.01.2022 Yesterday we farewelled our Pa (the James Dean lookalike pictured with our gran). While it was sad to say goodbye, it was also a chance to reflect on all the great memories we have of him. It was also a chance to see our family, our gran, aunties, uncles and some of our cousins and reminisce with them about Pa and the good old days. 03.01.2022 Happy Anniversary to these two wonderful humans. Their anniversary came and went a few days ago and I missed it in my covid bubble haze. They were married on their stunning Tarwin Lower property with the hills and wind turbines behind them, under the red gums. Tameaka was able to get ready in the comfort of her own home and wander down to the ceremony. Its such a personal decision who you choose to stand up there with you as you say your vows and I dos. You want to make sure you have a connection with them, that just feels right. We can however, recommend a list of celebrants we know and love. Couples are then able to get in touch with them directly to get a feel if its the right vibe for them personally and what their ceremony is all about. Due to COVID19 and so many weddings having to be postponed, our couples are finding it difficult to find someone to marry them. If you are a celebrant that we havent connected with yet, we would love for you to get in touch for a chat and hopefully expand our recommended list.
