13.01.2022 It’s with regret that we announce the postponement of Ute Nationals 2020. The rapid escalation of the COVID-19 pandemic has created an exceptional set of circumstances for our event. The recent recommendations from the federal government restricting non-essential gatherings have forced the decision to postpone. Unfortunately due to the size of the size our venue is now unable to hold Ute Nationals, as we fall under the category of 'non-essential gatherings'. We understand t...he news of this postponement will be a great disappointment, but we have every intention to run the Ute Nationals at a later date in 2020. The safety and welfare of entrants and spectators is our critical priority moving forward. If another responsible course of action was available to us we would have pursued it, but under these circumstances we cannot proceed due to our public liability insurance, advising us not to hold an event at this difficult time. We will work through contacting our current entrants and event sponsors in the weeks to come. We thank everyone involved for their support and patience. 10.01.2022 ** WHY PRE ENTRY FOR UTENATS** We have been asked this question a lot on the last few weeks . The reason why we do pre entries is for the following reason. - so you don’t get stuck in line filling out forms - pre entry is helpful as you can just drive in and park and display -also allows us to allocate VIP items . Eg tshirts hats and flags .... - we can also make more category trophies if we get a lot more of one particular type of vehicle. 05.01.2022 Ute Nationals 2020 Update: After much consideration, it is with regret that the 1st Annual Ute Nationals, will be postponed until 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, current restrictions in place for public gatherings, the uncertainty easing restrictions, and in the best interest of public health, it makes it unrealistic to hold our event in 2020. As the show is not-for-profit, it was important to decide on the cancellation now as this decision impacts greatly on our sponsors..., exhibitors and entrants who spend months preparing for the show, plus our team of volunteers and judges, who are essential in making the event run smoothly. We will be contacting all current entrants and sponsors over the next week, regarding refunding payments or carrying entry/sponsorship over to the event next year.
