20.01.2022 Overnight there has been some clarification from the Office of Sport: The Public Health Order states at which indoor venues the wearing of face masks is mandatory. To clarify, the requirement to wear a face mask only applies at premises specified in the Order. Under the Order, indoor recreation facilities are not included on the list of premises where you must wear a mask.... This advice supersedes the original advice provided by the Office of Sport yesterday. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by our previous communication. For more information visit https://www.sport.nsw.gov.au/novel-coronavirus-covid-19

19.01.2022 It is important that the football family supports the NSW Government and the broader community, by continuing to promote the limiting of spectators, and encouraging participants to check if they have attended any of the affected venues. This is effective immediately and is vital for the successful continuation of our competitions throughout the state. Football NSW is working with the Office of Sport and all of our Associations and Clubs, in updating our COVID-19 Safety Plan ...template to reflect the new directives, and once this is done we will share it widely as soon as possible, in readiness for this weekend’s activities. Please click on the link below to view Chief Health Officer, Dr Kerry Chant who has written to all Community Sporting Organisations requesting that additional measures be taken to protect against the spread of COVID-19. #StaySafe #ThinkSmart #StopTheSpread
