22.01.2022 NO NEEDLE NO SCALPEL VASECTOMY, how does it work? Gentle Procedures Sydney does not use needle for vasectomy operations. Because of this, sometimes no scalpel, no needle vasectomy is confused with laser vasectomy. Some people may assume that because no needle and no scalpel are used, a laser may be used in the operation but this is not the case. As mentioned above, Gentle Procedures clinics in Sydney use specialized instruments that obviate the need for scalpels and needles.... The traditional scalpel is replaced with devices for puncturing a small hole and holding mens vas tubes during the no scalpel vasectomy procedure. The needle is replaced with an air jet applicator which when activated, produces sprays of anaesthetic that goes through the scrotal skin and the Vas without using a needle and puncturing the skin.
