18.01.2022 In my most recent LIVE I mentioned the use of a mantra to keep your stress in check. WHY? Creating a mantra that means something to you can help you stay positive and enforce your belief in yourself. Don’t bother using a mantra that doesn’t sound like you, it won’t resonate. Think of something that works for you, OWN IT and USE IT. Once you have your mantra: Continue to enforce it. Set a reminder on your phone so your mantra pops up once a day to remind you of what it is. Rep...eat it to yourself before going to bed this will strengthening your belief in yourself which is the number 1 thing you can do to help manage stress. 18.01.2022 Through my social channels I endeavour to share my KNOWLEDGE and EXPERTISE to help people become aware of and improve their EMOTIONAL HEALTH. Help me, HELP MORE PEOPLE by sharing my page with your family and friends. It only takes 3 simple steps.

17.01.2022 SELF-DOUBT: You’ll never banish it for good and any anyone that tells you otherwise is lying. What you can do is get your self-doubt in check and in time learn to use it to motivate you. When the confusion, anxiety and feeling of being stuck sets in be mindful of your inner monologue. Take a deep breath and calm your nerves. Question yourself rather than doubt yourself. Is this true for right me now? (just because you think it doesn’t make it true). Write down the worst-c...ase scenario. Often when you can see you excuses and worst fears on paper you realise there’s not as much to be afraid of and this will allow you to chunk down your issue and see a pathway forward. Plan your way. Start simple, keep it small and be honest with your timeframe. Take clear, directed action. Take on the world! See more

15.01.2022 Just like you take care of your physical health, it’s equally important to take care of your mental health. A therapist can help you: 1. Unload all of the heavy stuff and make sense of it. 2. Widen your perspective and provide distance between you and your problem, assisting you to overcome the stressor impacting your wellbeing. 3. Provide you with coping strategies to manage current and future problems consequently promoting confidence and a sense of wellbeing. If you aren’t feeling yourself, I encourage you to seek professional help, it’s important!

11.01.2022 According to Freud each one of us is motivated by either pain or pleasure. Just look at the advertisements we see every day, much of it is driven by the pain and pleasure principle. Adverts that use intimidation and scare tactics create fear to drive you to make change and therefore purchase a product or service to help you make this change. Conversely, pleasure based advertising creates a ‘wow’, ‘cool’ or ‘fun’ factor. There is a sense of inspiration or even a possible ‘halo’ effect leaving you, the potential consumer, feeling good about making a purchase.
