23.01.2022 Iso 2.0 almost took my creativity and feeling of freedom. ALMOST, I’m lucky I have a huge support crew behind me. How does one work while remote learning? They don’t; insert me... starts to work with limited time, gets interrupted repeatedly. Little people, they don’t understand iso. They don’t understand time. They don’t understand my work or workload. They don’t understand their own emotional state within this cluster fuck. So I’m giving my boys me. It’s hard. I’m emo...tional. I love my job and what I do. But reality is this. So I take time where I can and today I claimed my time. I’m grateful for Dean, who knows how important this part of my life is. And I’m especially grateful for the clients who are waiting patiently to receive that msg reading, hey your furniture is ready. 18.01.2022 Just a bit of joojing up here. This little red ottoman was in its original condition and a wee bit worn and torn. When replacing with new vinyl, we colour matched as close as possible. The pouf had broken stitching so we just sewed it back up. We also cleaned it up and conditioned the vinyl. We made sure lots of love when into these vintage sweets; knowing they hold a special place in the clients heart.

17.01.2022 When borer have a field day... first image. Following images are the repair. Impossible, was my first thought. But apparently not!! ... Can’t say I did much on this... honestly! Jesse stripped it, with so much care. He didn’t damage the fabric at all. Then Damo completed that insane repair! And gave it some sparkle. All I did was reattach the fabric. Sometimes this is my role, to source out the best man for the job... and I just do my wee bit. Some would’ve burned this gorgeous chair and it’s stunning fabric. Not this owner, sentimental value and love meant they had to find a way to keep it going. I’m glad I could be part of this. Can we all just take a minute to enjoy this beauty. Client found these on the roadside and wasn’t sure what fabric to use. I suggested hessian and calico, as they will sit under her verandah. 04.01.2022 My studio update. Safe to say this feels like a very long journey. Still no roller door, thanks to the pathetic shed company who very much treated me like a woman they could walk all over. Even though I won the battle, I’m still waiting for the correct door to arrive. I’m grateful beyond doubt and can see us in there soon. There’s just so many small jobs to get done although we are getting so close to the end of them. My path is coming together nicely although this is... a physically demanding thing to do... anyone put their hand up to help me . Anyway, we will continue to work in the dungeon and enjoy the sunny days working on the small jobs to get us over the line. v.g
