Built in 1891 to meet the irrigation needs of the Mildura region, the Psyche Bend Pump Station is the oldest pump configuration of its type in the world and part of the Chaffey Trail - an intriguing self-guided tour of significant heritage sites. Other sites on the trail include the grandiose buildings of the Rio Vista Homestead, Grand Hotel and Mildura Settler's Club.
