24.01.2022 1st day of Spring has sprung up on us Oh how I love this time of year. However there are many people out there who dont. This is when those people start to get the stuffy noses, sneezing, pressure across the eyes/face, headaches etc due to the beautiful flowers in bloom. 23.01.2022 Good news for Morayfield clients who have private health funds. As many of you are aware I have had a few issues with trying to get the hicaps online up and running for the Morayfield location. Well good news!! It's finally active!! If you wish to use your private health fund at your appointment all you need to do is download and fill out the hicaps go app. Unfortunately at this stage not all health funds are accepted online, however we can still email the invoice and you ca...n easily send that to your health fund to be reimbursed. With the announcement a few days ago that qualified massage therapists are able to commence back at work, we are super excited!! Christine our therapist is ready to get straight back into it! 22.01.2022 **IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT** Hi everyone, Rebecca here. Thought i would inform you all of what will be happening over the next few weeks. Its my 10th year of owning the clinic this year and no other year comes close to the craziness that this year has been so far! With my maternity leave getting closer to being finished i have had to seriously contemplate what i need to do to be able to continue to offer my services to you all in the current climate. After months of deliberati...on it is with a heavy heart i announce that we will be closing the clinic at the end of the month. This has been a very hard decision to make but dont worry its not all bad news. We are looking at other spaces to operate out of, but nothing is quite set up yet so we will keep you all updated with any news. 22.01.2022 Attn: Medibank Private Health fund clients! I have had a few people ask me of late if I will be getting back on to the Medibank members choice provider list. This was something that I hadn't even thought about when I moved. I have enquired with Medibank private and unfortunately at this current time and with my limited availability I have made the decision to not go back on that list at this time. I may reassess this decision at a later date but at this current time it just w...on't be a feasible option. I do apologise to all my medibank private clients as this was something that didnt even pop into my mind. I hope I can continue to provide acupuncture treatment to all of you. 22.01.2022 Something exciting in the works!!! As some of you may already know I also have a bit of a hobby of making macrame in my "spare time" Well myself and Joe (owner of Semper Amore) are in the process of planning a plant hanger macrame workshop. There are no finer details at this stage but if this is something you would be interested in participating in let us know, as there will be limited spots available. We are looking at a 2 hour time frame on a saturday afternoon possibly sometime in October. We will only be going ahead if there is enough interest, so please let us know if you are. Will keep you all updated on the details to come :-)

19.01.2022 **Post from Rebecca** So with all this crazy stuff happening in the world it certainly is an interesting time to bring a baby into! But in saying that, its with great pleasure I announce the safe arrival of Kaydence Elizabeth Sweeney. She arrived safely into the world on the 29th march, at 8pound 4 ounces. Both mum and bub are doing really well and settling back into things at home. ... In terms of our little clinic, we are currently still closed but will keep you all updated along the way. 16.01.2022 HEALTH FUND NUMBER UPDATE With changing locations it also means I need to change my health fund numbers. This is always such a slow process as they only do it once a month. With so much uncertainty when I was starting back and at what locations this meant I have only just applied for my new numbers recently. I applied as soon as I knew where I was going to be but unfortunately the private health funds are very slow. I was still hoping to have them all sorted before I start th...is week but have just been informed that some may start coming through next week and others wont be until next month!. Majority of the health funds will back claim from when I started at the location. It just means clients will be required to pay at their appointment and then once the numbers come through can send them off to their health fund. 14.01.2022 So alot of you have been asking what our plans are? I am happy to let you all know that i will be returning to work on the 18th august!! Which is sooo soon!! So obviously there will be some changes due to us closing the current clinic. My current plan is I will be using a room in morayfield on Thursday afternoons from 2-7pm and every second Saturday 8-12am. Also will be working in woodford on Tuesdays from 2-7 and Wednesdays 9-4pm. There will only be acupuncture available, u...nfortunately at this stage there isnt any massage therapy. I will be adding links for my wonderful clients to be able to book online for their appointments. There will be a couple of other business structure changes, one of which is asking clients to use an app to make payment, this app will do both hicaps and eftpos and is contactless. Anyone who books in for Acupuncture at our Morayfield location could we please ask that if you would like to use your private health fund that you sign up to HICAPS GO app, as we will not have a hicaps machine to take manual payment. This app will allow the hicaps and gap payment to be made all online. We will have a tap and go square available for eftpos and of course cash. 05.01.2022 Severe storm warning in place for this afternoon. Working at the woodford clinic this afternoon and looking on the radar there is a nasty little cell approaching. With my schedule meaning i would have to leave in the next hour to drop my daughter off to be looked after then head over to the clinic, i have made the decision to reschedule appointments that were booked in for today, for both mine and all the clients safety. Hopefully it wont be as bad as they are predicting but I would rather be safe than sorry. Thank you to my wonderful clients for their understanding. Stay safe

05.01.2022 Well.....bit of a sad moment. The last time i will look down this hallway! The end of nearly a decade! And what a decade it has been. At 22 years old i didnt know what to expect with being the owner of a business but i am so glad i took the risk. Many hours were spent doing the hard yards and many weeks i didnt get paid anything at the beginning, just so that i could keep the business afloat. But i am so glad i kept going and in the last nearly 10 years i have also gotten mar...ried, purchased our first home, and had 2 gorgeous daughters, i have also met some amazing clients who have made all the sacrifices so worth while! I cant tell you all how honoured i feel that you all stuck with me throughout the years and hopefully will continue doing so I am feeling conflicted with closing this little chapter, sad that i am leaving this building as it holds so many fond memories but excited to be starting a new. This photo is what 8 days straight of cleaning, painting, moving furniture, scrubbing walls and floors, all while juggling 2 kids (one of whom i am still breastfeeding ), keeping the home somewhat stocked of food and trying to stay somewhat on top of the laundry piles at home messy hair and no make up but who cares.. 04.01.2022 So thought we would do an update for everyone in regards to this COVID-19 virus. We take the threat very seriously and are taking all the neccessary precautions within the clinic. Our staff have decided to continue treating all our lovely clients, we do however ask the following -if you have been overseas please stay home and reschedule -if you have knowingly come in contact with someone with the virus please stay home and reschedule -if you have any symptoms please stay ho...me and reschedule We are keeping a close eye on things and will most definitely update you all if anything changes, and for the safety of the staff and other clients we just ask you use common sense. If for some reason the staff feel there is a threat they may ask you to reschedule your appointment. Thanks for your continued support of small business, this is a tough time for everyone but especially the little guys!

However we are closely monitoring the restrictions the PM is putting in place and keeping up with cleaning and disinfecting surfaces regularly in the office. Please remember if you have had contact with anyone who has corona virus, been overseas or are presenting with any symptoms we ask that you please reschedule and stay home! We will keep you all updated over the next few days with any changes. These are crazy times and we are taking it a day at a time! We thank you for all your patience and understanding.

02.01.2022 Message from Rebecca (owner) So many of you would have seen the PMs announcement last night for more restrictions. So as of midnight tonight massage will no longer be available until we are notified that it is allowed to recommence. In terms of acupuncture appointments we are still taking appointments until Thursday but Wendy has expressed her concerns and feels its in hers and all our clients best interest to close for a minumum 2 weeks and self isolate to hopefully slow any... spread. This is a very difficult decision as we will be leaving our wonderful clients without any means of treatment however we feel this is necessary in this current situation. So please, if you are still wanting any treatment please call the office today, with massage available until end of trade today and acupuncture until end of trade tomorrow. At the end of the 2 week period we will be reassessing the situation and will be notifying you of our plans with the acupuncture. This is such a difficult time and something i never thought i would be having to deal with while on maternity leave but here we are. We all hope that you stay safe and please isolate as best you can.
