24.01.2022 Who doesn’t love edible mud?! (Chocolate cake mix) The Junior Kindy kids today played with their favourite farm animals and got them all muddy! (Although they may have eaten more of the mud than playing in it)

14.01.2022 HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our December babies who are turning ONE!!! 1st birthdays are super special in Nursery 1 Birthdays are significant milestones for children and it’s wonderful when they can be recognised and celebrated along with friends. Children develop a deeper sense of identity when engaging in such celebrations. EYLF Learning Outcome 1 Children have a strong sense of identity.

11.01.2022 NAIDOC Week The Kindy’s learning wall documented our learning of Indigenous Australian cultural. We explored Dreamtime stories, dot painting, Aboriginal symbols and Australian animals and their significance to Indigenous culture. Through connecting Australian animals to Dreamtime stories we were able to understand the importance of the connection between people and the environment. The stories also offered us an opportunity to examine multiple ways stories can be told; through oral language, music and dance.

Also bring their dancing feet along too. We will be having a boogie out in the back yard with DJ Ray Ray from Little Rockers Radio for the official Red Nose Disco for 2020!

09.01.2022 Dear Parents, Christmas is a very exciting time for children, however, not all children will receive a gift this year due to circumstances beyond their control. The Kindy room would like to make a difference this year and we would like your help. The Kindy children would like you to donate $5, or as much as you possibly can, so that we can choose a toy to buy online through the Salvation Army’s Christmas Appeal. 03.01.2022 In the Kindy room we engage in both dramatic and free play. Through play we are able to make sense of the world we live in by negotiating, taking risks, exploring and creating meaning of real and imagined situations. By engaging in play we are more likely to have well develop memory skills, language development and are able to regulate our behaviour; leading to enhanced social and academic achievements later in life.

03.01.2022 Our toddlers have been very excited about our newest addition, although we can not think of a name for him! We would love some family input to help us name him!
