01.01.2022 Today the Premier announced some significant easing of restrictions in regional Victoria. This good news is testament to the sacrifices made right across the st...ate to slow the spread of coronavirus. What we are doing is working. For regional schools it means primary school students can return to the classroom sooner than we previously expected . During the first week of term four, all rural and regional primary schools will return to face to face teaching. As previously announced VCE and VCAL students will attend on-site for the General Achievement Test and other essential assessments and special school students can continue to attend on-site. It is a significant step forward for regional communities and I want to thank all of schools staff, parents and carers, and our students for the work everyone has done during this challenging period.
