23.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE Good evening all, Tonight Netball NSW have provided an update on the current situation we face with our 2020 season. ... Netball NSW confirms that the suspension of all Netball activities must continue until at least 29 June 2020, unless the NSW Government decides to lift Public Health Order early. With this, Westlakes will meet to discuss what this means for our season, clubs and representative sides moving forward. We again appreciate your patience with this and will provide you with further updates as soon as they become available to us.

23.01.2022 Hi All, Thank you to those who have completed the survey and provided feedback so far. We would just like to make it clear that the restrictions of no spectator...s and the extra safety precautions that we have to follow are the decision and guidelines of the state government and Netball NSW. At this point we can not amend this. As for refunds, this decision also comes from NNSW. However, We do respect your feedback and we will be taking it into consideration when making a final decision. We have been waiting for news and decisions from NNSW for us to be able to move forward with our season and provide you all with the information we have at hand. NNSW are too, waiting on Nsw Government regarding Public Health Order to be amended. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback.

Please note 2019 Foundation Umpires ar...e now considered to be Junior Umpires. Nominations are now open for 2020 Foundation Umpiring Squad. We encourage parents, spectator and players of all ages to become involved with umpiring. Umpires help keep the game safe, fair and fun for everyone. TO QUALIFY FOR THE FOUNDATION UMPIRING SQUAD. You must be turning 12 years of age in 2020 and we encourage parents, spectators and players of all ages to nominate and complete the course through My Netball You will need your Login and Password If you are not a player or a member of Netball NSW you must register and you will need to register with a club as a non-player to be covered for insurance purposes. Complete the online Foundation Umpiring Course. The cost is $40, you will be provided with a certificate on completion. Foundation Umpire Course Complete the Rule of Netball Theory Exam with a pass of at least 70% Exam cost is $10.48, you will be provided with a certificate on completion. 17.01.2022 Covid-19 update In the best interest of all our members and their welfare, We have made the decision to postpone our 2020 season. Under the advise of Netbal...l NSW and their strong recommendation, we have also decided that our competition be suspended until the 2nd of May. This includes all activities including club training and all representative & squad training. Whilst this is an unfortunate disruption to the netball season, we believe in doing what's best to our netball and wider community. Please see below for updates on our 2020 season. 2nd May - Grading day 9th May - Open day & 1st competition day Sunday 19th July (make up day) We appreciate your understanding. Stay healthy and we will provide you with any further updates.

Your committee is committed to having members there for the day, however we will need as many volunteers as possible to help us run things smoothly! Semis on 18th November and Finals on 25th November. (Finals fees $8.50 per player) All players to be a member of the PCYC which is $10 a year. ... When & Who: Wednesdays from 4-8pm for 7 & 9 year olds in one aged comp and 10 & 12 year olds in another aged comp. Cost: $130 for 16 week comp. When & Who: Tuesdays from 6:15-8:15pm mixed age comp for 13 & 15 year olds. Cost: $130 for 16 week comp. For any further info please contact Morisset PCYC directly!

"The current NSW Public Health (COVID-19 Restrictions on Gathering and Movement) Order 2020 (Public Health Order) is presently in force until Monday, 29 June 2020. Netball NSW confirms that the suspension of all netball activities must therefore continue until at least that date, unless the NSW Government decides to lift the Public Health Order earlier.... Netball NSW will continue to strictly follow the Government advice so that we will only get back out on court when it is deemed safe to do so" Stay safe and well

04.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE Good evening to all. Following on from the latest announcement from netball NSW, tonight Westlakes executive met with our club presidents or a ...representative to discuss a possible season for 2020. Westlakes and clubs are proposing a restructured, 10 week season starting from the 11th of July with the possibility of finals and a grading day a week prior if restrictions are lifted enough to allow this. This, of course is subject to the guidance of government restrictions and a further announcement from Netball NSW on the 1st June where we will either confirm the above or meet again to make amendments if needed. Westlakes will continue to follow the recommendations from Netball NSW and NSW public health orders and provide further information as soon as it becomes available to us. We truly hope we get see you all out on the court this season!!

03.01.2022 Junior umpires are required for the Summer netball competition commencing on 10th October 2020. Only 1 round @ 8:30 or 9am. Teams range from 7/8 years to 10/12 ...years.
