20.01.2022 Thank you to the 14 participants who were involved in the Technical Academy (Referee course) last Saturday. The day was focused on Refereeing skills as well as covering new rules. Thank you to Andrew for running the course and providing many a refereeing story and to Danielle Smith from Waterpolo NSW for Coordinating the day. A reminder to all players when signing onto the score sheet before a game please then wear the correct cap no. corresponding in the water. It's important for the table to know who's in the water when allocating goals and penalties.

The draws have been done it's been very busy as there has been lots of late registrations. You can look up your draws soon on revolutionise - there will be a date change for the Intermediates. 13.01.2022 What a splash the first Round of Waterpolo games were kicking off the 2019\2020 Season. A very chilly start with some awesome athleticism in the water. A big thank you to everyone who helped out from scoring to refereeing to pack up. It's very much appreciated! ... A big welcome to all the new players lots of smiles and I've heard you all had lots of fun even though it was a balmy top of 14 degrees. We are growing as a sport here in Orange with 3 divisions. Last night was the first U13 Junior's competition game for the club - super proud of all the players. If there is anyone you know from Juniors, Intermediates or Opens that still want to register and play waterpolo please let them know it's not too late. Join as soon as you can so you don't miss a fun season of this sport. Cheers Sarah

05.01.2022 Hello All, Here are the games for Round 3. https://www.revolutionise.com.au/orangewp/games/... Please note a few Housekeeping notes for this season: 1. Can captains please put forward any players interested in refereeing duties - as the first few rounds have been covered but it would be appreciated if teams could assist in these duties - or are willing to learn. The more referee's we have in the club the easier it is to share the duties around. Please email these names to Sarah [email protected] 2. Please put caps by the side of the pool as soon as your game is over so the next team can use them. There should always be 13 of each White and Blue. 3. If your team is the last time slot please have an allocated person to collect the caps - putting them in order from 1 -13. 4. If your team is also playing in the last time slot please help pack up the pool - if everyone helps it makes the end of the night so much easier. Pack up involves - lane ropes back into the pool, collecting caps and putting back onto the hanger, rounding up spare balls into the bags. 5. Training is on Tuesday nights - 5.30pm-6.45pm. I put this on for anyone wanting to train, learn new skills, meet others, ask questions regarding rules and to gain some fitness. 6. Please make sure you are registered. I know there has been some IT issues with revSPORT please let me know ASAP. I'm really appreciative of teams helping out makes me very Thank you for the teams over the last few weeks that have helped out all round the pool - I couldn't do this by myself. 02.01.2022 Is your child keen to try a new sport like Waterpolo? The U12's Waterpolo Festival run by Waterpolo NSW is being held here at the Orange Aquatic Centre on the ...last weekend of February. It's all about Fun and Participation, making friends and learning new skills of the game. The Orange Water Dragons are WANTING more players. If your child is a keen swimmer and would like to attend a 'Come and Try' afternoon please put your child's name on the Expression of Interest sheet at the front desk at the aquatic centre or send me an email to [email protected] or Direct Message me through facebook.
