24.01.2022 We have two fruit trees on our balcony, One of them is a miniature lemon, it has seven lemons getting to the ripe stage. The tree has an "Idris Kit" with a two litre bottle for water storage, and a 30 Centi-litre dripper installed. The bottle lasts about seven days and keeps the tree with an adequate water supply to encourage growth in the lemons.

One of Clabers original and most successful products is now available in a more a more advanced model, for watering indoor plants when you are out or on holiday. There is no need to leave the tap on or connect the product to the mains power. The backlit LCD allows you to check the selected watering programme, along with the duration and all other settings. Supplied complete with everything you need to set up a drip irrigation system for up to 20 pots, it works with two AA 1.5 V batteries, making the product fully autonomous and reliable.

23.01.2022 This is a new item which will be released in March 2019. Powered by rechargeable batteries or mains power via a USB. The unit will irrigate up to 20 indoor or patio plants from its 30 litre tank.

18.01.2022 When operating normally, the water level should be at about the 80% level. The float will control the water level. At any other level, the unit should be disassembled and washed under running water. Our Idris spikes and Kits have been operating for over two and a half years, with only occasional washing maintenance.

16.01.2022 We have another fruit tree on the balcony, a Cumquat tree. Last month we picked the fruit, some 500 grams and made 4 jars of Marmalade. Now the tree has started to bear fruit again. It is also irrigated with an "Idris" kit and fitted with a 2 Litre bottle for water supply. The kit is fitted with a 30 centi-litre control device, the bottle requires a refill every seven days approx.

12.01.2022 If the water level in the "Idris Spike" or "Idris Kit" is not around the 80% full level, the unit needs washing under flowing water. Remove the device from the plant pot, disassemble and wash the items individually, paying particular attention to the float chamber and the bottle attachment head. Algae formation in the warm weather can restrict the water flow to the plant pot

05.01.2022 Warning: Problems with water storage in drink bottles. Drink Bottles with non-continuous thread at the top of the bottle have experienced sealing problems with the Idris device.... Ensure that the Idris device is screwed up to the first raised ring on the storage bottle. To check if the seal is made, hold the bottle and device in the vertical position, if no water is seen to flow from the raised sealing ring, the seal is correct.
