25.01.2022 Thanks to Dave and Rita for the invite. 4 deer later and finally the orchard is deer free for a while. Trying out some fruity marinades at the next bbq.

Keep doing those odd jobs around the house and get in the good books. Happy wife, happy hunting life! Finally got time to grind and polish the garage and do a nice metallic epoxy floor in the man shed of our favourite activities in life. BEACH and BUSH

22.01.2022 Was out visiting some farmers in the Goldfields region when the missus and I decided to take a quick stroll through the State Forest 1hr before sunset. 10mins in, came across 2 young fellas like this. Unfortunately for him he stopped broadside about 100m off and now he’s in the freezer. My son found a nice little fort structure overlooking a valley while we were there.

18.01.2022 Took some friends to a property in the Grampians to shoot some rabbits, made a tasty rabbit stroganoff and then awoke to the Red Deer Roar! Called in 3 stags which was great fun for all involved. Stopped off in the bush on the way home and crossed paths with another 5 Sambar hinds. Thanks for the Easter holidays getaway Bev and Geoff.

17.01.2022 A quick trip after school to help out a local farmer. Good practice for my son.

17.01.2022 Thanks for the invite Murray. Downed a few bunnies, a fox and this deer chewing away at the new crop. Fridge full of meat, nice hide for hanging and a new wall hanger for the BBQ area.

13.01.2022 Took the opportunity to head out to a property last weekend to fill the freezers ahead of food strains on supermarkets due to irrational behaviour by some. Took 2 deer and 3 foxes. Plenty of meat available for family and friends for a while.

12.01.2022 Thanks David, had a great time over the weekend relaxing and helping out a mate. 20+ rabbits & hares plus 1 fox for the day.

01.01.2022 A good night out at Elaine's property last night. Tested out the new IR gear and was very impressed with it. Cleared out 13 rabbits on this trip. Your husband's a real character and your dogs (What a dog that Skippa!!!) were right there helping us clean up the meat afterwards. Very helpful couple and appreciate the extra leads and cooperation to set ourselves up in the neighbourhood. Plenty of trips close to home for the future. Big Thanks!! Big effort from my son shooting 8 for the night, 7 of them headshots!! I think he's getting the knack of it!!
