25.01.2022 Today in class we focused on the anahata (heart) chakra - the energy centre of love, compassion and self-acceptance. Loving ourselves is the most powerful way to empower our spirit and open ourselves up to loving relationships and opportunities. The "way of the heart" or the "path of the heart" is living your life from this energy center of love. It means living your life with loving kindness and compassion towards others. It means that your heart is open to others and you i...nspire kindness and compassion in others. You create safe and supportive environment. When anahata is open and energy is flowing freely, you are not only loving to others, you are also loving to your self. You know when you need to say no and when you need care and self-nurturing.

18.01.2022 On this day, which is dedicated to inner and outer well-being of the human body, people across the world practice yoga in groups. 16.01.2022 Self love and self worth are invaluable. Do you love yourself? How can you practice more self love? Take yourself from a massage, become aware of negative self talk and replace it with kindness and be grateful for your amazing functioning body.

14.01.2022 Camel Pose, Ustrasana, and backbends like it, can be physically challenging and beneficial. Physically it increases flexibility in the spine, stimulates the nervous system, opens the chest and shoulders, improves circulation and digestion, and stimulates the thyroid. Emotionally, backbends can create a sense of vulnerability we usually shy away from. ... This asana focuses on opening the heart chakra, the centre of love, compassion and self-acceptance. You love others, you love yourself, you give love and you receive love.

08.01.2022 No matter your experience, yoga is truly for everybody and every body. I’ve always had a block with handstands and arm balances but have reached a point where I always give it a try, regardless of how it looks or whether I’m successful, give it a go! That’s all we can do

06.01.2022 Sharing some magical moments with some of the little folk in class :)

03.01.2022 Well HELLO there! LONG TIME! I have been very very quiet on social media for a while now due a desire to be less connected and for another positive reason. My mission with starting community yoga classes was to do just that, to build up a community of people who not only enjoy the practice of yoga but also the experience of making time in their life for a precious hour to themselves, arriving at the space, connecting with other people and feeling good in their bodies before f...loating home with some useful tools to use in life. THANK YOU to those of you who have supported me up to now - running these classes is a dream come true and I am so grateful to you. I have started teaching 2 classes during term time so people can commit for a shorter period of time. I am so lucky to have met some wonderful people through starting these classes, most of them rebook every term which I am so grateful for! However I am always open to meeting new people who would like to try out yoga for a term and see if it's a fit and we have some spaces for next term. Here's what I offer: Tuesdays @ 7pm - adults ONLY - time for you :) Starting on the 15th of October until the 31st of November (with a break for Melbourne Cup Day). Fridays @ 9.30am - child-friendly so your little one can come and hang out whilst you practice. Starting on the 18th of October until the 29th of November. There are 7 classes but you only pay for 6 so if you can't come to one you won't be out of pocket at an investment of $95. If you are keen to try a class and see how it feels please get in touch and we can arrange a trial class before you commit. Community needs gatherings and people coming together and that's what we are doing here so join us. Get in touch to have a chat or ask any questions you may have. Namaste Lucy Morris
