21.01.2022 Week 1 message from Principal Mr Darryl Thompson: I trust everyone took advantage of the holiday to rest up and recharge batteries. Staff will continue to be in... attendance at the main gates as we need to ensure that social distancing measures continue. It is great to see Parents and carers supporting staff and ensuring this model of operation runs smoothly. Even if there is no one to greet you at a gate we would appreciate parents not entering the school grounds until further notice. I would like to continue to reinforce, especially with the onset of cooler weather, that if your child is unwell they stay at home. If you have continuing concerns as to the impact of the virus on your child's health please contact me as under the current Phase of return it is compulsory for them to attend school if they are healthy to do so. We will be constantly outreaching to the community and I encourage you to ask for any support that assists with regular attendance at school. Please keep supporting our attendance procedures so that any absence is acknowledged and needs to be justified with a note, a call to the school, or supported by a medical certificate. All individualised school reports will be ready for distribution this week. We hope that the new format is a useful model of feedback on your child's progress. A reminder also that the new date for School Photos is Monday 10th August. Our new week for the Canberra excursion has been locked in. Please access any special arrangements around payment for the trips as we want to ensure that as many students as possible get to attend. Can I assure you that no one will be out of pocket in this respect. Please ensure that your child's name is on all clothing as there are a lot of jackets etc being left behind. Names make them easier to return. Have a great week!
