05.01.2022 Hi whanau and friends, yesterday marked 3 years since Dads accident so Phil Shandley and I took a trip to the Wilson Rd site where it happened to see the progre...ss of the site. The project companies building it have created a sandstone memorial bench named Jimmy's Bench which they are installing on-site in honour of Dad. Unfortunately, the naming of the tunnel after Dad was unsuccessful due to timing and logistics but I am so glad we tried and forever grateful for the support. The site is still under construction and looks like it could be another month or 2 away. Once the site is completed I would love to have an unveiling of the Bench and invite everyone to attend. I have a meeting next week to organise dates and proceedings and will keep you all posted. Thank you and take care. See more

04.01.2022 Thank you to the AWU for publishing an article in relation to the naming of the NorthConnex Tunnel after Jim Adams petition. Your support is very appreciative. I believe my father’s naming is a tribute to many who have fallen in this industry and I also believe this will create opportunities for the naming of future projects and for the people on the ground. #AWU#tunnellersinarms #strongertogether
