25.01.2022 If a house was built before 1990, there’s a good chance it contains asbestos. Whether you’re doing up your own home or working on someone else’s, be aware before you start of where asbestos might be found. Asbestos can only be disposed of in a licenced facility. There are big penalties for the disposal of asbestos in domestic rubbish bins. #AsbestosAwarenessWeek

17.01.2022 Trips to Chatswood just got a whole lot easier thanks to the NSW Government Park’nPay app which launched today in time for Christmas. You can pay for and top up your parking at meters across Chatswood CBD via the app no more fumbling for cash! It’s contactless, tells you where the meters are and even sends an alert when you’re time is running out. Now all you have to think about is where to shop and eat. Available to use in Chatswood, Artarmon and St Leonards, the Park’nPay... app is another way we’re helping our local businesses bounce back after the pandemic, encouraging people to 'shop local'. www.parknpay.nsw.gov.au Councillor Hugh Eriksson Mayor Gail Giles-Gidney Victor Dominello MP Service NSW
