25.01.2022 After the 1st round of the North Coast Enduro series the Woopi club is sitting in 3rd place! Awesome result by all the riders at Jollynose. This weekend is roun...d 2 at Kyogle. The trails up there look amazing so it will be an awesome weekend on the bike. You don't need to be a hardcore racer or super fit. It's all about having fun and representing for the club. 22.01.2022 We spun the Wheel of Fortune for October, got the time, found the winner then got complelety distracted and forgot to post it up. As many of you worked out it was Crank It Up and plenty of wheels went down there. Can't even remember what time the wheel spun out but I do remember it was the smiling Kim McKinnon who scored the $100 voucher. Nice work. Now get out there and break something so you can cash in :)

21.01.2022 Round 1 of Woodseys Wheel of Fortune is run and won!

20.01.2022 Round 2 of the North Coast Enduro Series went down in Kyogle on a super fun trail network. The Kyogle MTB Club hosted a beautiful day in their stunning backyard.... There were five stages spread across their MTB park highlighting the fun and flowy nature of the trails. We may not be able to get to Canada or NZ (or even Queensland) right now but you can certainly get your flow trail fix at Kyogle. The latest installment is Flowvid which had the groms and seniors experiencing the same levels of froth. The Woopi club once again represented and rode to some great results. We took our first category win of the year thanks to Ilo Black who stomped the under 13 category to take home the gold. Young gun Aflie Tapp took 5th in under 13's and Poe Black rode well all day to hold down 5th place in under 15's. Poe has a few seasons left in this category so he will no doubt be spending plenty of time on that podium in the future. Jack Mitchell showed his consistency just missing a top 10 in the under 15's and continues to add points to his overall. Jerry Tapp nearly landed on the podium with a 4th place in Masters and Scott Bocking took out 2nd. The Woopi groms are getting so quick that the adults have to stay fast just to keep an eye on them :) Unfortunately we lost Jesse Bocking from the series with a broken wrist in Saturday's practice. We wish him a quick recovery and know that this will not slow him up for long. After round 2 Woopi held onto 3rd overall which is an awesome result considering we do not have a home round this year. Next race is at The Sawmill on October 11th so we only have 2 weeks to wait until the next round! 20.01.2022 The August edition of Woodseys Wheel of Fortune is run and won. I didn't get a chance to film it today but the wheel landed on 2.40. I checked the Electric segment and George Atwal had 2.41. Then I checked the acoustic one and Ben Ainsworth was right on 2.40. Close for sure but Ben just scored the $100 instore voucher. Keep an eye out for the September version to show up in the Strava feeds of all you local shredders. Ride on!

11.01.2022 HEY 2021 WE’RE BACK! The WLE team is looking forward to a big 2021. The first half of the year will bring an exciting new series, The Borderline GE Series. Th...e series will have 2 rounds in South East Queensland and 2 rounds in Northern NSW. Riders will be competing to earn points toward the Series Championship in their age category PLUS Championship Club AND, The Champion State. Each event will have 5-6 stages, and some will have a Queen stage. Each event will start at 8am finish at 2pm. Riders can have as many attempts at each stage as they like in this time, best run counts. We are focused on bringing you affordable family friendly racing. We are stoked to be able to present The Borderline GE Series at the following entry fees: $55 for Adults $45 for Juniors **Boomerang Farm will be $65 adults and $55 Juniors** Entries will open this weekend for our first round at Nerang on January 31. 07.01.2022 Septembers instalment of Woodseys Wheel Of Fortune is done and dusted. Dusted being the operative word as it was a month without any significant rainfall which kept the trails dusty but also made them run fast. Lots of riders showed up on the Strava feed and the wheel spun onto 3:12. I checked the acoustic bike results and we had one rider on 3:11 and another on 3:13. I jumped onto the electric bike feed and there was one rider who hit the 3:12!! Congratulations Katie Fowler. You have $100 in gift vouchers waiting for you. As always, we don't give away the location of the segment but this month you will need crank it up a notch to find it ;)

03.01.2022 I just wanted to let everyone know that Woodseys Wheels will be closed for four days while the staff take a well earned break. The Covid period has been extreme...ly busy in the bike industry and we have worked hard to keep everybody rolling during this time. We will be closed from Friday July 24th and will re-open on Tuesday July 28th. Give us a call if you need any quick fixes before the weekend otherwise we will see you back next week.
