25.01.2022 Our Tune Up & Tutelage Kids rocked their first day! Learning to be confident happy dogs!

25.01.2022 Thursday! So many zoomies we had a few bigger kids join us today and they have been perfect with the smaller kids showing them how to interact with dogs off all shapes and sizes!!!

22.01.2022 Wookie dogs has grown so much over the years but it would not even be a shadow of what it is without one very special man. My father has been the back bone of Wookie Dogs from the start! Every time I came up with an extravagant idea he did his best to make it happen! From the first Wookie Mobile to finding the the land we call home for our daycare. He works a full working week and then comes to the property to mow the lawns, fix the fencing, bring down water, and build all the things I want and need to make Wookie Dogs a special place! Dads are amazing and I feel mine is especially so. Happy fathers day to this amazing man! I couldnt do it without you!

22.01.2022 Its Friday! What an amazing day! Almost fully booked! We ended up splitting into two groups so everyone could run and play safely with similar energy friends! The last few months have been a whirlwind of fun and we have loved it so much!... I have to apologise if I havent been as fast to respond or hard to get a hold of, we are working hard behind the scenes to make sure this is the best place ever for all pups. I had dreamed of Wookie Heaven, an amazing adventure playground for dogs to run, explore and play for years and for it to start to become a reality is amazing! I want to make sure the quality of our service is clear and I love meeting every person and dog who walks through our gates! I guess I just want to say thank you to the amazing clients who have been here from the beginning and the new who have joined my journey along the way, I am still learning so much and hope to give the best I can for all our beautiful furbabies

19.01.2022 We believe in bringing out the best in your pup! Teaching them life skills that will help both you and them in the future and giving them the best time ever! There are many amazing daycares in Perth but not every daycare is suited to every dog! Mobi joined us today for a trial and we love him! Unfortunately he has been told he was not suited to daycare due to his size and energy levels but we were excited to give him a go! Well, he fit in like a glove! ... By providing a little extra structure to his day and managing his interactions he did amazingly well and we cant wait to have him again!

15.01.2022 We will no Longer offer boarding in 2021. Wookie dogs has grown from humble beginnings over the years and we have loved every new twist and turn it has presented! The transition from a dog walker to a full Doggy daycare has been amazing and we love offering the best care possible for your pup! ... But this comes at a personal cost, as for the last 3 years, I have been working 7 days a week above and beyond 12 hour days to give our amazing pups the care they deserve. I have loved every second of it! We have not made this decision lightly but feel it needed to be made. We will be offering limited spaced till the end of this year and then cease boarding from January first. please contact me asap if you wish to secure one of these spaces for your pup as they will go fast Thank you all for your amazing continued support and look forward to seeing Wookie Dogs grow with all of you!

02.01.2022 HARLEY Tune Up and Tutelage Unfortunately Harley was unable to attend any puppy classes, and once he was 16 weeks nowhere was able to take him, and he continued to miss out on learning important social skills. Harley then became scared of other dogs, which presented as aggression (dogs are very quick to learn that barking and lunging makes the scary thing go away). You'll see how in just a couple of minutes he went from displaying aggression to standing quietly ne...ar them and even sniffing some through the fence. Throughout the day he has progressed to walking on lead around the other dogs and then off lead with them. He also enjoyed some free time alone in one of our paddocks. See more

01.01.2022 I dont normally share weekender videos but this one is a bit special. Smokey a border collie mix was rescued by his amazing family from Shenton Park, he is a very independent boy who could be quite reactive with people and dogs. If he welcomes you into his heart you are one of a chose few and you get to see what a beautiful sweet boy he is. Smokey doesnt often play much with other dogs, an introvert after my own heart, he will happily sniff, explore, chase water and shad...ows. Oh and he loves his milk bottles! So today as I saw him playing so beautifully with Milo and Bailey my heart swelled with pride! His owners have done the most amazing job with this boy and I am so proud to be a part of it! Anyone who works with dogs will know of the warmth you get from a dog learning to be a happy healthy dog!
