03.01.2022 Just some general information for World Gym Bundaberg members... *Our Olympic Bars weight 20kg *There are 2 x types of Olympic Bars in the gym:... 1. Power Bars (Used for Bench, Deadlift, Squats, Shoulder Press, Rows etc...) These bars have the brass bushing inserts and as such do not spin freely. 2. Bearing Bars (Used for Olympic Lifts like Clean & Jerks and the Snatch) These bars have no brass insert and instead have bearing inserts and as such have alot more spin. It is important to use the right bar when doing specific exercises in order to maximize efficiency/performance and minimize risk of injury....
