25.01.2022 In another strange extension to the story we recovered a Turkey and a Rooster yesterday. They were dumped at Yarralumla Bay Friday morning and a big thank you to all the people who saw them and reported it. Strangely the rooster is NOT ours, so if you've had one stolen and recognize him, he should go to his home. Unfortunately it probably means the other turkeys and chickens are no longer with us as police hinted to freezers full of meat that wasn't from the local supermarke...t when they searched the house in Deakin. 20.01.2022 We're asking for help to find stolen animals! On Thursday night between 8:15 and 8:50pm several individuals climbed the fence and stole 4 of our piglets, 3 fully grown turkeys, 2 frizzle and 1 polish chickens. Of most concern is the piglets as they were not ready to be removed from their mother and would need bottle feeding to survive. I also hatched the chickens from eggs on my kitchen bench and raised them before bringing them into the farm, so all our animals are more than just farm animals to us and we would dearly love to have them all back. The theft is in the hands of police but if you notice a neighbor or someone that has 'acquired' a group of animals like these, please reach out or contact police on 131444

19.01.2022 This Saturday is French Toast day (yes it's a thing!) ...and our chef has created some specials to celebrate, we even have a kids version. Come down this weekend for some yummy French goodness.

14.01.2022 We have some GREAT NEWS! The piglets have been found and returned. A huge thank you to everyone for spreading the word, to ACT Police for recovering them, and an extra special thank you to the good Samaritan who reported it to the police... my faith in humanity is slightly restored As you can see the piglets were SUPER HUNGRY, they didn't even give mum a chance to lie down before trying to feed, and thankfully mum was just as grateful to see them again as well. But STIL...L MISSING, are the turkeys and chickens. Hopefully the police can extract their location from the people that had the piglets, but if you happen to see (or hear!) a little black & a little white frizzle chicken, or a polish rooster with an attitude, and three large turkeys then please let the police know. 03.01.2022 HELP BRING BACK THE CANBERRA MAZE Since June 2015 I have been attempting to re-instate the old Canberra Maze but the bureaucracy has finally gotten the better of me In 2015 I was told it was a "no brainer", good for jobs, good for tourism and a great activity for families. Many promises were made but not one of them have come to fruition. We have so many aMAZEing ideas for the maze but investment in small projects by small businesses just shouldn't be this hard or take th...is long.
