24.01.2022 We recently had our Rescue Support delivered! Replacing our former vehicle, this brand new vehicle based on a Field Command Vehicle forms part of our fleet for responding to rescue incidents. At times, due to the terrain and access, it is more appropriate to have a four wheel drive ute to get to a casualty. The vehicle was provided through the Victorian Government's Volunteer Emergency Services Equipment Program and supported in kind by the fundraising conducted by our brigade auxiliary - many hard days of sausage sizzles, collections, brigade breakfasts and the like. Those in the photo are only few of those who helped make this possible - there are countless people of the team who contributed to this moment! Thank you to the Yea Railway Market for the generous support that enabled us to raise the funds required!

20.01.2022 At 5:40pm this afternoon, we will be sounding our siren four times out of respect and recognition of the tragic loss of four Police Officers a week ago killed during the course of their duties. A loss of a member of the #emergencyservicesfamily is touches everyone, regardless of uniform. Please join us at this time for a moments silence to consider the contribution of these officers and the impact of their loss to their loved ones and the wider community.
