Thank you to everyone is the Gledswood Hills estate who has kindly donated to the project. Christine has been amazing organising these donations each month and we are very grateful .

16.01.2022 Thank you so much to Camden Council who helped fund this year’s Youth Week activities. Unfortunately, these activities have been postponed since April but we have finally been able to host our Girls Lunch at Elizabeth Macarthur and Mount Annan High schools. These lunches provided a safe space for students to access free sanitary products and discuss issues important to them.

Whilst the convoy looked slightly different to the years previous, its message remains the same: There is no place for violence in our community. 14.01.2022 What a day! Massive thank you to the Clontarf Academy and Elizabeth Macarthur High School for hosting Big Yellow Umbrella and Camden police today. MacKenzie and Melanie ran a full day of Domestic Violence and Respectful relationships workshops with the school’s Indigenous male students as well as boxing and oztag sessions. They were an incredible group of young people who were enthusiastic, engaged and one of the best groups we have worked with. What great role models and leaders for their peers!

Today @probus generosity donated $290 to go toward purchasing gifts for the community plus an array of gifts and knitted items. If you are aged over 18 years old and would like to join a group of like minded men it would be great if you could take some time for yourself and come along. This is a new initiative to connect men in Macarthur . If you would like to attend but cannot commit to this time please provide feedback in the comment section.

06.01.2022 We are thrilled to announce and acknowledge the support we have recently received from Camden Council as successful applicants of the Covid 19 Grant round. Big Yellow Umbrella received $12,000 to support the Food Relief program. This funding will extend the program and ensure the community have access to food and essential items.
