Most people associate calmness with passivity, but the peace that meditation brings releases energy. Worry and preoccupation dissipate your strength. Meditation frees the energy that has been bound in your mental conflict so that you can apply yourself one-pointedly to whatever you decide to do. Meditation will lead your mind to become more concentrated so that you can fully focus on whatever you choose.
