07.01.2022 Hi All, doing a 50KM non stop paddle to fundraise for MS research, my sister has had MS for 15 years so a cause close to my heart, every donation helps
07.01.2022 A huge Thank-you to everyone who has donated to my fundraising, I have now reached my target of $1000, as always any further donations will be greatly appreciat...ed as all money raised goes to research towards a cure. There is a link to my fund raising page in the post under the photos Tomorrow is the day I undertake my 50k for May, non stop 50KM Stand Up Paddle over 7 hours, I will be paddling in the canals at Newport as the wind has turned unfriendly, Starting point will be near the cafe on Spinnaker Blvd as it provides easy entry in to the canal as well as a vantage point for those who would like to yell out some words of support as I paddle by, I will be looking at starting at 6am and intend to be passing by every hour as a welfare check If you would like to paddle with me for a few KMs during the day it would be greatly appreciated Will try to post regular updates as I progress A huge Thank you to ONE Ocean Sports who have loaned me one of their full carbon Hollow Edge Pro 2.0 flat water weapons for this challenge
04.01.2022 Sea Snake safty warning yellow bellied sea snake (Hydrophis platurus) have been spotted on the shore line in the local Moreton Bay area. Although Sea snakes are not very quick on land all caution should still be taken in consideration like any other snake. If you believe you have have been bitten do not hesitate to contact 000 straight away as sea snake bites are initially painless and show no sign of swelling or discolouration. Sea snakes only come to land if sick, Injured or dying.
