21.01.2022 Boysie Blog - The lighthouse and the tugboat Boysies role is a moving lighthouse. I come to shine my light, to guide the ships into harbour safely. Some ships have little damage and some are barley afloat, both damaged from the journey across lifes sea. I stand tall, leading by example and simply helping you along the path. ... The lighthouse gets blasted by the wind, rain and sun. It needs to be painted and checked over regularly. I check in with myself regularly and make sure I am in the best shape to do my job and shine my light. I have filled the role of the mighty tugboat. Going out to sea, to help the damaged and broken ships, limp into harbour. Time after time, day after day, to help our brothers and sisters limp into harbour. Eventually I was burnt out from this heavy work and unable to venture out. This begun the journey of a different role, the lighthouse.
