18.01.2022 Gavin Campbell and Kate Seeley at Razor c. 1990. Every Friday night at the Light Car Club on Queens Road, the Razor crew pulled up the curtains, rolled back the carpets and hung two-metre-high African masks on the wall. Gavin: 'The masks gave the dance room this incredible atmosphere ... we just had a cluster of mirror balls with pinspots on it, a smoke machine, a strobe and then these lights on the wall. Everything else was dark.
