21.01.2022 1000 MIGLIA 2020 IS POSTPONED: THE NEW DATES ARE OCTOBER 22ND-25TH The Board of Directors of 1000 Miglia srl, in agreement with the shareholder Automobile Club ...of Brescia, in view of the current emergency and in order to ensure that the event is held in maximum safety, has decided to postpone the 1000 Miglia 2020 and the connected events which will therefore take place from Thursday 22nd to Sunday 25th October. As our institutions have constantly announced over the past days, confirmed Franco Gussalli Beretta, president of 1000 Miglia srl and Aldo Bonomi, president of the Automobile Club of Brescia, peoples health comes first and, in the hope of the best and quickest solution for this unprecedented situation, we all have the responsibility to participate in the collective effort underway.

21.01.2022 SOLD: 1965 MGB Roadster Competition Car. Grab the opportunity to buy this well-prepared and properly sorted classic. Prepared in Melbourne, the car competed in ...three Targa Tasmania rallies, gaining a class win along the way. Then bought by a Perth enthusiast who entered the car in Round the Houses regularity events for several years. Built using all MG components, very much upgraded including 1946cc motor. The gearbox is a straight-cut, close-ratio MG 4-speed unit. The clutch is as per MGB V8. Brakes are front discs and rear drums, still MG items, but with a brake booster added to increase braking performance. Centre-lock adapted Minilite-style wheels are fitted. The suspension remains as per factory design but is adjusted to give less bodyroll and a tighter handling. An MG diff is fitted, without LSD. A CAMS approved rollbar is fitted and a pair of Sparco racing seats, extinguisher and the unit for an intercom. Harnesses are fitted to both seats. The MG has a CAMS Logbook. The owner says hes too old to use the car in competition events now so its time to move the car on to someone else to enjoy it. The car is very well presented throughout and has been meticulously maintained. The price is a very reasonable $X which would be less than half what it would cost anyone to build representing exceptional value. Unregistered, the car can be inspected in Mandurah. 10.01.2022 Western Australian hero Rosco McGlashan’s Aussie Invader 5R world land speed record attempt car has been invited to be displayed at the Avalon airshow - the 202...1 Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition, which also celebrates the 100th year of the RAAF. Funds are needed to assist with the logistics of shipping Aussie Invader 5R to the event to be displayed to a worldwide audience. Sponsors are sought and for $5000 can have their company logo in event publicity material and on the car for the show. Sponsors would also be welcome to have a personal visit and tour from Rosco of the amazing technological tour de force which is Aussie Invader 5R, at the workshop where it’s being built. 01.01.2022 Celebration of the Motorcar 2019 was a huge success. 150 fabulous cars, perfect weather, an exceptional venue and big visitor crowds made for a great event. Many thanks to all involved in making Perths premier classic car event such a world class day.
